Had a late lunch today and I cannot understand why this restaurant is not busier. The service was first class and the food was tasty and reasonably priced.

Awful. Had sandwiches, egg mayo which tasted like it was mayo less, felt like it was egg and water. The cheese and ham sandwich was dry and cheese was rubbery. Sauce in carbonara again watery and bland. I can see why it was empty when we walked in. Will never go here again.

No accessible toilet for disabled people. My daughter who uses crutches had to go to the nearest public toilet. We asked for a small soup, sandwich and glass of water for a 4 year old. They couldn't do that, only adult size. 3 couples who came in after us were served first. Will not be back.

Had 2 takeaway pizzas from here spicy meatball pizza and a mushroom thin crust both where really good, well cooked and really tasty.

Was in for dinner this evening with my partner at around 5pm, the restaurant was empty besides my partner and I. The waitress and the service was good but the food was a massive let down. We both had the chicken burger which Is usually amazing but tonight was the polar opposite the chicken was 3 tiny thin pieces of dried out batter essentially it was borderline inedible this was especially disappointing because we waited almost 30 minutes for our meal We usually love bar rio but tonight was a massive let down

What a nice dinner! The menu is quite varied, but as we had had a late lunch, we decided on sharing a huge fish (haddock) and chips dinner. The fish was delicate and perfectly cooked and the fries were the best we've had in Scotland. But even better was the service from Trisha (drinks) and Sandy (food)! Even though it was a busy night, we always felt they were aware of our needs. Great job!
Decent pizza and a pint of Caledonia’s Best. The place was clean and not at all crowded at around 1:45 PM on a Thursday. Good stop for a light lunch in Oban.

We just visited this nice restaurant/bar this afternoon. They served a very delicious seafood pasta (I think the name is rock pasta), and I love it. The seafood is fresh and the garlic tomato sauce is very yummy. You also should try their hot chocolate, I'm not a fan of whipped cream but I love it here, so light not like usual heavy cream for cake. Staffs are so amazing and frindly.However, I do not like the soup, taste like curry with lots of veggies.The location is next to tourist information, must visit this place when visiting Oban.

We came here 1st time on Saturday the 12th of Augustvery busy and we order soup of the day plus a few slice of bread & tea while we there we booked for table for 2 for 7.30Unknown to me my partner he told them it was my 70th birthday and to have a special chosen table of which they did us proud they had a 70th birthday banner across the table and a hallium balloon with 70 on it they serve us really well at the end of the last meal we order a royal cheese cake had a happy birthday candle on it we had photos taken it was best evening every just as well we reserved our table because some group of people had to wait so long for it is a very busy place and nice staff as well ? ? so it best to reserved your table for night time.

Got the pizza and I’ve had better from Iceland and my wife got the barbecue chicken with chefs special tomato sauce it was more like chicken tikka bbq pasta had to load the pizza and pasta with Parmesan cheese so it tasted of something never again.

We ate here as a family of six and on the whole found the food to be okay. The waitress, however, was quite surly and rude. George was reasonably friendly but that's all I can say about the staff!
