Stopped for a quick lunch. The two of us both had the burger with fries, coleslaw and salad. It was tasty but quite big so we were unable to finish it. Great place for easy parking and a quick lunch.

Cuan Mor

Absolutely delicious lunch here on a chilly Saturday afternoon. I had the roast chicken dinner which was beautifully prepared and incredibly tasty. Will definitely return next time we're in Oban.

Marmaris Kebab House Oban

A big thank you to Marmaris who went above and beyond with their customer service today. I ordered build your own pizzas and one of which I meant to be cheese free, I didn't press cheese as an option without realising the pizzas came with cheese anyway. This was ordered as a collection, when I phoned despite it essentially being my error (though it could be highlighted somewhere on the page build your own pizza starts with cheese) I was sent a replacement pizza via home delivery with no extra charge very quickly

The View Oban

Great place to come for food with great and fast service. The view is amazing and the staff are friendly. This place is a hidden gem. I would recommend coming here!

Tesco Cafe

Friendly and courteous staff, order is done on a self service screen take a number place on your table and wait. Service was quick but prices a bit expensive for a can of irn bru £4.70.
Good selection of food and hot drinks, food was excellent. Nice and clean.sauses are in bottles that you take to your table.

Chilli Grillz Oban

On holiday in Oban and ordered various curries and a pizza to be delivered. The curries and rice were really good. One was missing however it was delivered quickly after we phoned. The pizza wasn't to our taste but that's just us. The only thing was the tikka masala wasn't like any tikka masala we'd had before - it was full of coconut, more like a korma. Some people might not like that. My son ordered it and didn't like it but I did so we just swapped. Nothing wrong with any of the quality here and would order again next time we come for a break in Oban.

We arrived around 10 p.m., despite the late hour, they received us with a smile! Impeccable service, we really loved it.

I forgot to post my review but a while back i went and got my lunch here.
I’m vegan and the staff were as they should be.
The colleague that served me was good.
He changed gloves for my food as it is vegan, I didn’t need to ask for him to do that, that is what it needs to be like (staff doing what is right without being asked)

Spice World

My wife and I went for dinner on Xmas day like we have in previous years, and as usual we had an excellent meal.\nWe had vegetable pakora to start, followed by a lamb jalfrezi for the boss and chicken tikka korai for myself, both were delicious.\nThe service is very friendly and professional. Highly recommend

Kebabish Of Oban

I’ve had various curries in this place and they never disappoint. Lamb almost every time and they don’t skimp on meat. Freshly made so sometimes a wait but worth it.

Oban Chocolate Company

This place gives the feeling that you're in a vacation. A wonderful place to be with the sea view and lovely location. The pastries were a little too sweet for my taste and quantity of hot chocolate was generous that I found it hard to finish the entire thing. Must say that the hot chocolate tasted like real hot chocolate and not just a premix one. Found the prices to be a bit too expensive and the space management inside the cafe can be better. P.S - There is a no photo policy inside the store, but by the time I noticed that sign, I had already taken these photos.

The Barn Bar

We arrived without a booking after travelling all day on the off chance we may get a table. The staff were so lovely and welcoming and looked after us so well. The food was delicious and the place had a lovely atmosphere with dogs very welcome ?? Thank you so much for looking after us after such a busy day.

Taste of Argyll Kitchen

We visited oban and chose this cafe for breakfast. We were lucky as went first thing and had the place to ourself.
The waitress was lovely and told us how the owner is gluten free like myself and there was so many options.
Fantastic portion sizes, able to change our dish to suit us.
The decor is lovely and very relaxed place, people came in and out for takeaway as well

The Mantrap

Little pub up a side street. Does what is says on the tin really as when I popped in the horse racing was on as a few gentleman supped pints of Tennants and Guinness. Has a pool table. Recommended for a pint or two. No food on just beer. Suited me fine ? ? ?

Oban Seafood Hut.. (Green Shack)

We read about The Seafood Hut before arriving in Obin and knew we had to try it. Where better to get seafood than in a coastal city? It was great! The order of mussels was huge and really tasty. We also got salmon sandwiches. The order of mussels was so large we saved the sandwiches for later. Well, we saved one of the sandwiches, a seagull stole one of them, still in the wrapper, while I was savoring my mussels. They only take cash so be prepared. Plus, seating is limited at the picnic table so grab a place while one goes to order. We seldom eat at a place twice on vacation, but we made an exception for The Seafood Hut!

Roxy's Coffee & Tea House

Food and coffee were fine, service was great and staff were lovely. Cute place that's welcoming, however I have to deduct a star for having the audacity to charge an extra 70p for a splash of oat milk. Pure profiteering, lactose intolerant and vegan tax.

The Oban Fish & Chip Shop

Always when we visit Oban it is mandatory ☺️ for us to have a fish tea in this restaurant.
Always good, haven't been disappointed in the last 10 years.

The Pokey Hat

Located in the center of Oban with nice seating just outside. The ice cream palor is local and ice cream is made fresh on site daily. My family and I have eaten ice cream every day for the past week on our holiday and this place by far was the best! The Biscoff ice cream may be my favorite flavor ever. We also enjoyed coconut with coconut shavings, and mint chocolate chip. Very friendly and will be swinging back by before heading home.

Nipped in with my mum for a quick treat while we were out in Oban and the experience was lovely. Very clean store, service itself was fast and the two ladies that served us were so kind and created a nice atmosphere. Portions are well worth the money! Thank you :)

The Corryvreckan - JD Wetherspoon

In the corner of the town where the blue signs glow,
To the Corryvreckan, I decided to go.
No surprises in store, just the standard fare,
The reliable hum of a 'Spoons in the air.
​I ordered the chicken, the Buffalo kind,
With two different sauces together entwined.
The Naga chilli brought a formidable heat,
While the blue cheese dripped down, tangy and sweet.
​A burger so saucy, a glorious mess,
(Though my napkins, I'll admit, were under some stress).
With a pile of crisp chips and onion rings too,
It’s exactly the meal that I wanted to chew.
​It packed quite a punch, a real spicy zing,
But I handle the fire that the peppers can bring.
From the first messy bite to the very last crumb,
It was classic, it was spicy, it was simply yum.

We had a coffee and tea here. The food however looked very inviting but we were on a boat trip.Loved the atmosphere, friendly,patient staff.Would love to return.

The Oban Inn

Stopped by to hydrate with a beer walking back from Donelli Castle which was more than worth the walk. Very friendly service at Oban Inn - amazing views from restaurant and hotel rooms?

The Hawthorn Restaurant

What a great find. Simple no frills quality food! I had the steak pie and it was very tasty with tons of tender beef in it. The mashed potatoes complimented it nicely. My wife had the highland mushrooms which are an amazing app, nice small serving packed with flavors.

Isle of Lismore Cafe

Lismore is my wife's and mine favorite island and more than once we enjoyed the lovely Isle of Lismroe Cafe. The food is delicious, the cakes are gorgeous and the staff is lovely.
We really enjoyed it and can honestly recommend it!

Hinba Coffee Shop

Stayed in Oban for a few days and this was my go to place for a beautiful coffee. Hinba is far and away the best coffee shop in Oban. Perfectly made drinks and lovely friendly staff. The Latte I had was prepared as it should be and was smooth tasting with a creamy head. The coffee shop itself faces the harbour so the view just adds to its overall ambience. I definately reccommend. Thank guys.?

Popped in Friday night 27/03/26 great live music on, bar staff very friendly.
Also popped in Saturday afternoon busy for the football but got served no problem love a local pub support you local pubs Defo recommend you visit when in Oban. Love IT

The Tartan Tavern

Great community spirit and a really good atmosphere. Definitely recommend popping in after a wee wander around the town. Only downside — no hand-pulled cask ales.

Café Shore

Popped in for a cuppa couldn’t resist a sweet treat had carrot cake and malteaser millionaire shortbread, tea and coffee, service was quick and with a smile, best carrot cake I’ve ever had! Plus hubby’s malteaser millionaire shortbread read was absolutely delicious too!! Thank you Tina and Morvern!

The Bistro "at the Falls of Lora Hotel"

A lovely lunch with our large family, a roaring fire, great service. Outstanding house burgers and lovely fish/ cheese plate at lunch. This is our second visit and we will definitely come again- thank you

Tralee bay fish and chips

Odd having to pre order and arrive at a certain time. Fish was good and substantial.

I ate at tables (outside) so not much of an atmosphere.

Restaurant at the Isle of Eriska

Friendly service, always saying yes to every request.
The space is cozy and charming, with a lovely garden view.
The food was outstanding—from the starter to the main course. I’ve never had duck breast and foie gras so tender and juicy. In my opinion, it’s one of the best duck breast I’ve ever had.
The scallops were also excellent, paired with a wonderful sauce.
The fish dish was relatively good, though I personally found the surface a bit too salty—everything else was spot on.
The beef was slightly dry, possibly due to the use of Scottish beef.
At £85 for a 3-course meal, I find the price reasonable for the quality.
Definitely worth experiencing.

Great wee Chinese takeaway in Oban up for the week on holiday 28/6/25 Food is good tasty worth stopping in for the hangover cure had the chicken noddle soup and special fried rice 10/10 ??? will definitely be back in this week at sumpoint

Soroba House. Bar & Restaurant

Amazing service from Duncan and staff at Soroba House. They did a fantastic job with our reception after a funeral. The soup was superb and all the food selection was first class. It was very welcome on a day of rememberance.

Great value breakfast. All options catered for. Best to book in advance as it is cheaper. Nice staff. Dinner options good as well. Large restaurant with lovely sea views.

The Glue Pot

Stumbled across this super find whilst holidaying in the area. The food was the best we’d had whilst away. Delicious and home cooked first class. Staff friendly and helpful and created a lovely atmosphere. And bonus watches the sunset over the loch.
