Absolutely delicious. Like, wow. It's also quite warm by the window, and the view of the harbor, the town, and the islands from here is just amazing. They have branded versions of their cute little red pepper grinders available for purchase, too.

This was the best seafood restaurant we have ever dined at. Food was really good, tasty and it felt fresh. It might seem a bit pricey but it isn’t for what you get. If in Oban, definitely try this out if you’re a seafood

Perfect setting for Obin. Sitting right on the dock by the water. It was raining on our visit, but the scallops were to die for. Fresh beyond fresh. Lemon cheesecake, oh my.. It's a bit pricey, but you're on vacation - enjoy yourself! Family friendly but feels like a place to take your significant other for together time. Hold hands and remember what brought you together. . Special restaurant in a gorgeous country...

Delicious local seafood. Quick friendly service. Would definitely recommend! The special starter was a huge Asian scallop that was so succulent, and my main was the fish selection which was so much food! Absolutely delicious hake, sea bass, and lemon sole. The sides were also very good.

Absolutely fabulous. Food was absolutely incredible, and such good value for money. Wine list equally as brilliant. Staff took quick note of my intolerance and made me feel at ease I wasn't about to get accidentally sick! The view is good from most of the restaurant. Later in the evening this is less important as you can't see much out the windows as darkness sets in, but the decor is tasteful and comfortable. Service was limited from an American standpoint; we typically had to get someone's attention to get something when there wasn't a specific reason to visit our table. The food was uneven: scallops were very good as an appetizer, my salmon with Mornay sauce was great, my husband's breaded haddock was dry and not that great, the fries/chips were okay, the lemon cheese cake was wonderful, and the creme brulee was okay but the top crust was a little thicker than ideal. Overall, the food and service did not seem worth the elevated price tag to me.

Been here a few times on holiday ..amazing place ..food ..staff ... can't fault it .. if you don't go you'll definitely miss out on an amazing evening...love it ...looking forward to the next time we visit !!!!

Plenty of parking beside the restaurant . Night started off great with a cheery greeting from the front of house. Staff were extremely pleasant and attentive. Food was excellent and great value. The seafood platter had a great variety, scallops, mussels, langoustines, oysters and smoked salmon and all tasted brilliant. Others had the fish and chips, mussels and 3 varieties of fish, hake, sea bass and lemon sole all presented wonderfully and tasted fantastic. Bill for 12 of us was very reasonable with only 10% added on for service charge but we took the option of adding extra as everything about our visit was 1st class.

I had phoned three weeks before our stay in Oban asking to reserve a table in an area in which our dog would be allowed. I was advised that it would be fine in the conservatory and that there was no need to reserve a table in that area. The person on the phone also kindly suggested to go before 17.30 or or after 19.00 to avoid finding the tables all occupied. So we arrive around 19.15 on a beautiful warm sunny evening when it was evident the indoor dining area was very busy but there were vacant tables in the conservatory. However we were very rudely told we couldn't use a table because they were allowing people who had booked in the dining room, sit in the conservatory. There was no negotiation available, we simply were not welcome and were not going to be allowed in. We were extremely disappointed and annoyed by both the situation and the brusqueness with which we were treated. An apology was in order.
