Nice to see a cafe that uses quality local ingredients, I had scrambled eggs which were perfect & hubby the big breakfast, I'm not usually a fan of the Scottish breakfast but I can tell when quality ingredients are used ?

Loved the big breakfast even though it almost defeated us. Delicious produce and service with a genuine smile - what a great way to start your day :

Stopped here to grab lunch before getting the ferry to Barra. Really lovely food and coffee plus plenty of yummy stuff to buy. Staff are very welcoming. Top notch.

Excellent service: the staff are friendly and diligent. The food is decent and so is the price. Small, better for take away than staying in. Has shelves with local products for purchase.

A lovely wee cafe! Great for a snack before boarding the ferry.

We had fantastic breakfast there. We had salmon with eggs and toasties. Nice flat white aswell. The guy serving us explained how they secure gluten free tost from contaminationin in toaster and added that they use new butter and a clean knife for my gf toasties. And everything tasted fenomenal. And all that while being super nice and charming. #celiac #glutenfree #glutenDietary restrictions: Celiac friendly, gluten free options, educaticated staff

Great service. Had a cheddar and tomato toasty. The cheese was nicely stretchy. The tea was lovely. Thoroughly enjoyed the empires biscuit. The quince ice cream was super interesting. The steak pie was also lovely and flavor and flaky in pastry.

I consider myself an empire biscuit connoisseur, and enjoy travelling the country tasting them in any cafe I visit. The one I had here was easily the best I've had this year. All the components were delicious and in the perfect ratio. A solid 9.7. It would have been a 10 with a jelly tot instead of a cherry, but fabulous nonetheless.

Went for lunch and had amazing soup. It was definitely home made. Went the next day for coffee - delicious flapjack ! Highly recommend.

A great wee café that serves unfussy food made from all-local ingredients. Service with a smile, and a great selection of local foodie gifts and deli ingredients to take away.

Living locally, I come here fairly often. It's one of my favourite little places to go. Everyone is very friendly and the food is great. They also stock a good amount of gluten free products in thier shop, as well as some really lovely Scottish and local produce. All in all, a great place.
