Delicious food, great coffee and lovely people ?

Excellent location facing onto the water. Friendly service. Felt coffee was a tad weak and sausage wasn't the best. Plenty of chairs outside. Good place to watch the world go by.Kid-friendliness: Yes.

Don’t waste your money on the breakfast, the only good thing was the beans because they didn’t make it

We were faced with a choice of two next to each other but Kronks had their menu outside so we went for that. Inside everything looked nice and clean and you could see what you were getting. The staff were friendly and prices we felt very reasonable, there was something for everyone. We all had paninis although having seen some salads got out I wished I had chosen one of those. Good combinations for paninis and nothing too much trouble. Drinks made and food came out fairly quickly whilst we were seated on their tables outside. The one next door shut up whilst we were there and we were glad we didn't opt for that one! A great little spot and excellent value food, would definitely go again.

Worst place I have eaten in a long time , food undercooked, coffee tasted like water, kitchen looked dirty , unfriendly staff I will never go back.

Stopped in here for a breakfast well that was laughable. Asked for full Scottish breakfast I asked for tomatoes instead of beans the girl Said we only do cold tomatoes . When breakfast came out it was in polystyrene containers with wooden cutlery. I’ve never tasted breakfast like it, was disgusting 1 lol sausage undercooked 1 rasher of fatty bacon, 1 black pudding full of grease, I asked for 2 potato scones instead of hash brown. They breakfast was awful it all ended in the bin, how can you go so wrong with cooked breakfast and it was expensive also. Definitely avoid when visiting oban.

Overpriced tasteless food

Inside is a wee bit cramped so if it’s busy there is a bit of a wait to order but that’s about the only downside. Staff are friendly and the place is nice and clean.I had a bacon and egg roll. The menu was a bit hard to work out when just wanting a bacon and egg roll but we all worked it out in the end. Coffee was nice and hot and was quite nice. Definitely stop for a meal when you’re there during 5he day.

Cafe near the seafront with pleasant outside seating area. That’s where it ends, food is ‘served’ (not sure served is the right word - dropped in front of you) in polystyrene trays with wooden knife and fork. This would probably be ok if you are having a sandwich but not great for anything else. I ordered a Latte - they have the machine to make decent coffee but sadly no barista training and I got a cup of milky coffee with skin on top which was really unpleasant. Could be such a nice place due to location but no effort made.

Ate breakfast there 3 mornings and eggs cooked perfectly. People very nice and great service. Quick and easy and in a perfect location.

What can I say! This was probablythe biggest disappointment that we had in the quality of food for a café during our stay in Scotland. A full breakfast didn’t have any eggs as they ran out, yet they still charged us full price. The pork sausage was tasteless and grainy. The piece of Nan bread was soggy. The ham at the bottom underneath everything was good, but you had to dig for it. The only thing that redeemed in this breakfast were the beans. Then there were the table and chair wars! You would think that two neighboring restaurants would be able to sort out between themselves, and share the tables and chairs with each other —- be good neighbors. Rather, the neighboring café to Kronks comes over to a Kronk’s customer and says they have to move because they are sitting in her chairs. We watched this happen, and it made for interesting breakfast viewing. Each of the tables were marked with the name of the cafe. At first, when I saw the sign on the table “Kronks only”, I thought it was a Scottish thing that maybe only locals were allowed to sit at. I decided that if somebody asked me if I was a Kronk, I would say, “Aye, I am!” Great atmosphere, and sounds, on the little patio as well as table and chair wars.

Full breakfast cooked nicely.Made fresh.Good value unfortunately a few items were missing as they had run out, so I was offered a free cake. Which I declined but appreciates the offer.Outside seating.Good coffee, also cold drinks available.

The best subs in the Oban town. Danielle was covering for the owner. She was kind to extend a welcome, guide through the menu and prepare a well crafted melt.
