Ate here while I was away for work. Great menu, lots of veggie and vegan options. Food was great, and the staff were friendly. It is an old style pub with the bar in the middle. Decor is really nice with lots of drink options.

Real gem of Oban and for so many great reasons!Popped in today for a lunch on Wednesday around 13:30 with my friend and immediately love the decor inside, bit too cold for the outdoor seating in late November but beautiful beer garden.The bar staff welcomed us warmly and was with us to take our orders within 5 mins and as quickly as possible.Food was with us quick and it was delicious! Definitely glad there's somewhere great in oban for vegan options too ?All in all a super great place with great people, food, drink and atmosphere, a true gem of Oban.Wheelchair accessibility: Ground floor and easy to get around

My friend and I had dinner here while overnight in Oban. It's a couple of blocks east of the main road. Food was very good and pretty good service. I had the fish and chips which was quite nice, but not the best I have ever had. Nice pub and restaurant.

The place is a real find. Delicious food (great fresh fish dishes), nice selection of drinks, wonderful atmosphere, friendly and courteous staff. Prices are very reasonable. Best eatery in Oban. You’ll love it!
We were staying in an apartment on the same street & called in for a drink on the way home. Liked it so much we booked a table for dinner for the next day. Food was very tasty & large portions. Recommend booking as saw people being turned away.

Expectations were not particularly high. The Lorne is a small pub with a standard pub grub menu. To say that expectations were exceeded would be an understatement. The mussels and haddock were wonderfully fresh and beautifully cooked, and the Tunnocks sundae is an outrageous dessert! We spent four days in Oban and ate at most of the highly recommended places, but the humble Lorne was our favourite.

Fantastic evening at this nice restaurant. Very friendly and helpful staff, good choice of beers on tap. Had the mussels for starters and the scallops with risotto for main - wow! Both absolutely delicious. Prices are reasonable for the quality and amount you get. Will definitely return when in Oban!
