Amazing place, staff so patient with our multiple allergies and we were a group of 8. So many choices, delicious homemade food, would recommend to anyone with or without dietaries! Thank you so much for putting a smile on my children’s faces and making us feel ‘normal’!!!

Great vegan&vegetarian options, kind service, cozy decorations. A tad expensive for my personal taste, but for an occasional dine in experience with wonderful food quality, it is a lovely café.

We stumbled upon this place acccidentally and we were very pleased with our little find, so much so we went back for a second helping a few days later. The staff are SUPER friendly, the food is amazing and tasty, the soup's are to die for and the pitta pocket and salad was just a delight. It's sad that it's so small but to be honest I think it would lose it's charm if it were much larger. The only thing I would say is it's VERY dog friendly so be prepared to have a new waggy friend each time you visit.

Wonderful little vegetarian/vegan cafe with a vast choice. Worth seeking out. Will definitely go next time I am in Oban. Fabulous food, attentive staff and good prices too.

I found this lovely cafe hidden up an alley and so glad I did. Food is amazing, so good I went back next day. Staff extremely helpful and very friendly. Dog friendly as well which is a bonus plus they had soya milk. Loved my veggie breakfast. A must visit if you are in Oban

Visited and had a 45 minute wait for a vegan bacon roll - expected the wait, however I was disappointed to see my bacon roll only had 2 pieces of bacon that were very small. Was excited to try this place but unfortunately the bacon rolls are not worth the wait or price

(We are Americans from New York walking the West Highland Way.) We were super excited to come to a vegetarian/vegan store, having eaten too much fried pub food. The ambience of Little Potting Shed is nice and charming. We were disappointed though, that much/most of the food served seems to be pre-purchased vegan/vegetarian food that is defrosted and heated, nearly before your eyes. We've never seen anything like it. A pie they were selling from the freezer for £5 was sold to us for about £15!! The meal was almost £50... and we didn't get any booze! We hope LPS can get into more made to order food or be clearer with their customers before they purchase.

As life long meat eaters we really enjoyed the menu here. The place had a friendly wholesome atmosphere and the choices were all well labelled with an extensive choice to suit all tastes, we would expect. We had a savoury and sweet scone (shared) which worked well as a mini "two course" lunch- being vegan the scones were not as light as some, but pretty good for all that. My Mocha was as good as anywhere. We really liked the eco-toilet, with hand wash sink top that then allows a grey water flush- I bet these catch on around the country- what a neat idea!

The cafe had a decent menu however although small, seemed understaffed. A friend and I were stood at the entrance with two free tables waiting to be seated, the waitress walked by us around half a dozen times without so much as making eye contact. Even if staff are busy it’s important to take the time to say to customers that they will be with them shortly, to not acknowledge our existence felt rude. Perhaps the staff need additional training in customer service.

Charming cosy cafe with a classic vibe but 100% vegetarian. Great value for money and loads of vegan options including all baked goods!

Visiting the Little Potting Shed Cafe is like returning to the 1970s except - that is - when it comes to the pricing. The menu - with Hommity Pie and other timewarp vegetarian favourites - is unimaginative and unimpressive. The most staggering thing is the pricing. Charging £15.50 for a main meal is incredible, especially given the drab surroundings. Were that main meal something special it would not be so bad but serving a 'Clive's Pie' - something that can be bought in most health food shops - retail - for about £3.00 and charging £15.50 for the same is not only lazy but just very, very greedy. Let's not forget that buying in a Clive's Pie requires no preparation or labour. They just shove it in the oven and dress it up with a few sides. This place is letting down vegetarian eating in the 2020s. People are being overcharged and underwhelmed. Sadly, Oban is the worst place you can imagine for vegetarians (even chips are fried in beef lard in most places) so this dreary little hole in the wall is the best you hope for.
