Food amazing and good prices but freezing in the winter as no heating.

I have been at Cozy Cafe on few occasions and have very mixed feelings about this place. Positive points are freshly made and good quality food, as well as drinks being available at very reasonable prices, and this is it.Unfortunately, service seems to be usually not cheerful or welcoming, while atmosphere is rather cold than cozy. Since there is not any heating up there in winter months it should operate under BYOB scheme, which stands for Bring Your Own Blanket. Will probably come back in summer.

There were 19 of us for Christmas lunch, all preordered, service was good and staff friendly. The portions of main course were far too big and only 3 of us cleared our plates. Unfortunately, as in previous years, the vegetables were not fresh, they were frozen and did not taste nice. The starters and sweets were a good size. Smaller mains and fresh veg please.

Came here since the hotel I am staying in did not bother to take my order after a 15 min wait. Found this place nearby and so glad I did. Right from the time I entered, the staff was very welcoming. Ordered the crispy haggis which came out promptly. This was followed by the steak pie. WHICH WAS AMAZING. The meat was cooked so well that it melted in your mouth. And the pie was so flaky. So glad that I walked out of the previous place....this place is a hidden gem

Food is lovely and very varied. You can get everything from a fry up to avocado on sourdough toast. Prices are very good and the coffee is great.Parking: Parking is in the main car park round the corner, a very short walk.

The kitchen had a few problems but the staff were very accommodating and sorted things out for us very quickly. They couldn't have been more helpful. The food was really nice, tasty and hot. We would go back.

Ill lit, first impression £5,25 a pint. Had a starter of Seekh kebab and chicken tandoori, both tasty but sadly dry. There were no breads, the currys do=id not look too appealing, so I passed, the sweets were made of ceam laden cakes, I passed. No dipos for thdd starter, It sas noticed how mucjh I ate and was onkly charged £2, I sense they recognised my disapppoingment.

A hidden gem. I hope they manage to stay in business as they often look empty. Really thoughtful and well put together veggie wrap, more like a halloumi burrito really. If you’re coming through from Edinburgh or cycling past this unassuming cafe is the place to go.

Had a fabulous Christmas dinner at The Navarr yesterday, Christmas Eve. The whole experience was wonderful from the staff waiting tables, serving at the bar and the chef and kitchen staff it was a memorable experience for all of us. A big thank you to Team Navaar.

Friendly staff, good food, nice setting with beer garden, live music and very comfortable bed. Great option if you're in the area.
