City Mills, right on the edge of the centre - historic building, good location.Once an award winning building conversion but now it really needs of some love and attention.Water racing past the old wheel in the lobby/bar area remains a lovely feature.Rooms: Cracked sink, bath sealant full of mould. Tired bedroom decor.Accessablity would be compromised with a broken stair lift.

Service and location were good.Good choice at breakfast but the room I was in was extremely dated to the point of being forgotten about. Not a good place to refresh and recuperate.Carpet was very worn and bathroom showed signs of damage to the counter and the area around the bathtub was beyond tired with mouldy sealant, tiles and grout throughout.Not enough plugs in the room and I had to unplug lamps so I can use the plugs.Rooms: Very dated and in need of a deep refurbishment. Historical building or not, the rooms need some love.Walkability: Good walking distance in and around town
