Stayed here for 2 nights while visiting family for Christmas. It used to be an old mill house and has retained some of the features of the mill. Great hotel. First of all, the staff are friendly and lovely. Cudos to all of them, really make you feel welcome. 5 stars solely for the personnel.The location is quite convenient, near the centre of the city and the bus/train stations.The building is a former mill, still has that atmosphere.The rooms are nice and clean, with necessary amenities.All things considered, I can't recommend it highly enough.
Dog friendly room a wee bit in need of a refresh but very clean . We had a lovely meal cooked by Wayne and Alex and we were impressed with the service of the waitress may and the bar service from Chloe .Food & drinks: Very tasty food and generous portions
