We came upon this little place while walking around our neighborhood in downtown Perth and the smell coming from it led us in. The lady at the counter was incredible sweet and made great recommendations. We couldn’t stay long so we only ordered a slice of pizza and focaccia and it was perfect! The dough was crisp and non greasy and the cheese and sauce was a perfect match. We can’t wait to go back and have a proper dinner. Please do not pass this place up. We are from the United States and we have a ton of pizza options, and I only wish we had Olive Tree there too!

The best Italian pizza we have ever had outside of Italy. The owner has been trained and then worked for many years in Lucca, in Northern Italy.We had a sourdough vegan pizza here which was simply incredible.They do takeaways and dine-ins.

Popped in as we were just passing while out in Perth today. Had some delicious olives and amazingly tasty potato wedges in olive oil, rosemary and garlic but then came the pizza!!Delicious, lovely crust, generous toppings and melt in the mouth flavours. We shared one, you need to be hungry or a teenager to attempt a whole one!Came away with a slice each of orange and coffee cake for later tonight, they look awesome.Had a great chat with the owners about all things pizza, lovely people who deserve your business.

One of those wonderful things that life occasionally throws your way happened to us yesterday. We had taken an early morning flight to a funeral in Perth and were wandering round for somewhere to have lunch and we stumbled across the Olive Tree. We both had a focaccia with cotto. Forget all the mattress- like focaccia you have eaten elsewhere - this was truly authentic sourdough focaccia - light , crispy, and absolutely delicious! THE VERY BEST I have ever eaten. We followed this by a piece of orange, polenta and chocolate cake - which was divine. We could not have asked for a more perfect lunch. The chef, Susantha, is a master craftsmen who spent 20 years in Italy perfecting his craft and winning awards. He is also a lovely gracious host. This is the real deal and we hope to return when we are next in Scotland. Dear fortunate citizens of Perth, get your pizzas, gelati and coffees from the Olive Tree and help it flourish until we are able to return! PS Although we travel a lot, I rarely write reviews unless it it about a truly memorable experience
