Just been to the Tiso in PerthA lady called Gill came over to check if we were ok. I was looking for new walking boots, I would highly recommend this lady, very knowledgeable, helpful patient,She checked my walking in them, asked questions, andI left with a pair off boots and socksBest service I have had in there

Went in expecting the work on my bike to take a day or longer, the gentleman assisting me managed to get it up and running in 30 minutes! Brilliant service, outstanding timing. Highly recommend!

Stopped off for a bite to eat. On a trip Glasgow to Inverness. Our little dog Lottie was made very welcome by Fiona. Excellent macaroni cheese. Absolutely brilliant will definitely be back for more.

It's a Tiso shop so it has the usual range of good gear, if a bit expensive. There's a lot more space than the Rose St store in Edinburgh, but (maybe) a bit smaller range. Edit: I originally said, "Usual well-informed and helpful staff", but I found the staff were unhappy looking and not particularly helpful today. My wife gave up on one product because she didn't want to interrupt a group of staff chatting in front of the display. Good coffee in the cafeteria (different company). A nice place to shop, though.*** Warning *** Always leave the car park by the most northerly exit. Queues back up from the main A9 roundabout, and you just can't get out of the "obvious" exit!

Sadly Tiso's tendancy to stock exclusively overpriced nonsense seems to have only gotten worse in recent years. If you actually want outdoor gear, I'd go somewhere else.

Popped into the Compass Cafe for a bacon roll and coffee and it was absolutely 100%. Very friendly welcome and staff were helpful and cheery. Food was delicious. Will definitely be back.

Went for lunch, could see it was busy but approached by the waitress and just told no, no tables. Not even an estimate of how long. Very poor service which seems to have gone down hill since our last visit

A good well stocked shop and well worth a stop off when heading north , cracking little friendly coffee shop as well. Also if your heading south !!

The staff welcome you on the way into the store. So that's a positive. I went there for the cafe. I had the mushroom and tarragon soup. Lots of tarragon stalks left in, which is unpleasant. The soup was not mushroomy enough, and tasted of vegetables predominantly. So the soup was not of a high standard IMHO. The frier had broken too. Some of the staff are a wee bit brusque too. The Tiso cafe, from a few years back, was miles better. This is a shame. Not sure that I will be making a return trip.
