A wee bit of soft classical music or similar, in the common areas would add to the ambience. Tried not to listen to other's conversations. Felt just a bit self conscious. Return to this hotel time after time. Just perfect as not too large and commercial. Offers a more comfortable, personalised experience. Staff are lovely and helpful. The food is certainly worthy of a Michelin star. The rooms are tastefully decorated and the hotel is immaculate.Rooms: Good sized rooms with high standard of cleanliness. Beautifully decorated and furnished.Nearby activities: Various tourist attractions in and around the area, depending on your interests.Walkability: Five minute walk, mainly downhill, to the main street in Pitlochry. Uphill on the return but manageable.

Only one night for us in this heavenly establishment. Check in was lovely and we had lovely room no. 3 with the lovely views of Pitlochry. Room was stunning, warm, cozy and inviting. Lounging areas were comfortable and other guests were friendly. Dinner was delicious, and breakfast a feast. I wish we could stay longer, so will just have to return. Thank you to all the fabulous staff we met.

The service was always attentive, friendly, courteous and always had everything in mind. Perfect, it doesn't get any better than this. The evening meal was very tastefully prepared and tasted great. Superb hotel in quiet residential area within walking distance of town centre. Exceptionally comfortable, everywhere was spotless and the tranquil lounge area conducive to relaxing. I travelled with my 93 year old father and both our rooms were exceptionally comfortable and spacious. There were two highlights of special note, the food was of the finest quality with a different menu over the four nights we stayed and the friendly, welcoming staff added greatly to our relaxing trip. Would highly recommend and will be back.
Stayed at Knockendarroch Hotel at the weekend for 2 nights in Room 5 on DBB rate. On arrival the staff were very professional and helpful at check in which was at 3pm. Our room was well appointed with lovely views of the surrounding countryside. The bedroom was spotlessly clean with tea/coffee making facilities available plus bottled water and the bed extremely comfortable. The hotel has plenty of parking available for guests and is only a 10 minute walk into the town. The lounge was a perfect place to rest after a long drive or sight seeing trip during the day with very attentive staff who offered drinks to enjoy whilst relaxing. It was a lovely touch that guests meet first in the lounge before dinner to choose your food from the excellent menu and enjoy an aperitif plus canapes. Our meals at breakfast and dinner were of the highest quality with plenty of choice. All the staff were attentive without being overbearing and couldn't do enough to ensure our stay was relaxing. They really make this hotel stand out from their local competition. Looking forward to returning soon.

Just back from a 2 night break. Excellent from start to finish. Beautiful old house hotel, well decorated in tasteful colours. Comfortable lounge for pre dinner drink and food of a high standard - especially the soup. Well trained and dedicated staff, all down to owners who care about customer service. Thank you for all that you do - hope to see you again soon - two very tired grandparents now rejuvenated!!
