This place was much better than expected. Big old hotels like this are usually a bit "worn around the edges" but this was well presented, warm and very friendly. Food was exceptional and the staff were excellent. Can't fault this place in any way. Will be coming back.
This was a beautiful stay! There are hiking trails all around the palace with plenty of activities, and The food in the restaurant was amazing! My favorite part was the staff and how accommodating they were during our stay; we originally booked the manor house but weren’t sure whether we wanted to stay there or in the main palace. My wife and I stayed for 1 night as a present for our Golden Wedding!! We had a wonderful time, room was very comfortable, food was delicious and staff were very friendly and helpful!! Set in extensive grounds with lovely views!! Would highly recommend and we will definitely return!!
