Best Cullen Skink I have had really tasty and filling. But I enjoyed the taste so much I wanted more 5 stars.

First ever sample of the famous Cullen Skink, Enjoyed it so much had to revisit the day before we left. Absolutely delicious. Dogs were spoilt with a treat from the staff. Staff are amazing, and although a small establishment, they are always busy, if there are no seats, just hang around it is well worth the wait.

This is a cosy cafe in every sense. Plus, dog friendly (my dog got a BIG treat too).Massive bowls of delicious home made soup. (Yes, I did have the Cullen skink; when in the World championship holder's premises, in the birthplace, it would be rude not too). They were massive bowls too.My husband had a 7 item breakfast, which he really enjoyed. I complemented my soup with a bacon, brie and cranberry toastie. So. Much. Bacon.Definitely would visit again. Highly recommended.

Great cosy cafe. The Cullen skink lived up to its reputation. Best. I've. Ever. Tasted. Husband's lentil soup was great too. Both were massive bowls. I had a panini with mine, which was delicious and really well filled. Husband's 7 item breakfast was very good too (it's great you can order exactly what you want, from a range of breakfast items). Dog friendly also a big attraction for us, with our dog getting a massive treat and made a fuss of. Would definitely recommend and come again

Had a great lunch here. Cullen skink was amazing. Sandwiches had plenty fillings and the loaf was so soft. Will definitely be back! No photos as we dived in so quickly!!!

Visited this place to sample their award winning Cullen skink. A small place which was very busy, and clearly popular. The 2 staff were rushed off their feet, but food came relatively promptly and with friendly service. It wasn't the best cullen skink I've had, but that may just be a personal preference ....it was certainly tasty and reasonably priced. Great spot to visit and support a hard working local business.

Came here to try their famous Cullen Skink, arrived with my family at 11.30am and upon entering the cafe we were told there was no Cullen Skink available until at least 1 o’clock. This was no issue whatsoever so we informed the staff that we would be back at 1. Arrived back at one to be told there was no space and we should have booked. The women looked at me like I had 2 heads…the audacity of expecting a table at the exact time I said we would be back. Absolutely devastated not to try the “best” Cullen skink in Cullen. They certainly do not win the award for best customer service in Cullen.

The best Cullen skink I’ve ever had and a dog friendly cafe, it’s a win win. A small cafe but well worth the wait. Couldn’t manage a cake after a bowl of soup but great selection. Will definitely be back in next time I’m up on holiday.

We had takeaway sandwiches for 2 plus a Cullen Skink. Fantastic quality and value for money (huge portions), top quality lunch for 2 for less than £15. All prepared fresh with hot bacon in the BLT. Great lunch, couldn’t be faulted.Very dog friendly too and the owner went out of her way to give treats to our dog even though we had takeaway.

Fabulous! Lovely staff run off their feet on such a hot day but so friendly and welcoming and the Cullen skink was fantastic and worth the wait xx

Lovely dog friendly cafe. We tried the Cullen Skink, it was absolutely amazing! Very accomodating to the dogs, they both had a lovely treat.

The staff in Lily's kitchen cafe are very friendly. Dogs are welcome and treated kindly. We had soup and sandwiches both of which were very nice. I had hoped to try their award winning Cullen Skink, but it wasn't available at the time. It's very claustrophobic with everything crammed into a very small space. Prices are reasonable and menu...for a cafe..is okay.

Having walked from Buckie on a very warm day, wasn’t totally convinced about having hot Cullen skink for lunch but I’m so glad I did, it was a delight.
