Food of poor quality with ingredients not tasting fresh. Small sized portions for price.Card machine out of order. No paper bill provided. No receipt.Very poor aesthetics.

Delicious food. They’ll adjust spice levels as you wish.Very prompt and friendly service.I’m surprised such quality exists in a relatively small town. I hope it stays!

Not recommended but there is not many options for Indian food. Pressurise you to only pay by cash. No high chairs, no desserts… slight customisations with food not possible because everything is pre-cooked and only reheated and served. Probably chef microwave doing most of the hardwork!

I visited this place during my trip to isle of skye, the only Indian Restaurant we found in portree, we ordered rose wine, chicken tikka, pulao, paneer, roti & gulab jamun, overall my experience is good, i do recommend to visit this place once, although the quantity is less & bit expensive but still worth

Not Indian at all. The guys from prince of India first needs to know manners before they should carry on with the tradition of Indian food in Scotland. We visited just cause we were in Uk for more than 11 days and wanted to get back to some Indian taste. We saw this restaurant with great filmy images and went in, no one was there to receive, we waited and they guy came in and served us without heart and care, the onion bhaji were burnt to black from sides and it was a complete waste of money..someone from India met me there on the same tour and advised to try it out, but they were from outside india, better not try Indian food outside India unless you are very very sure.

Bunch of liars, Racist & rude staff . when white people were entering the restaurant staff were smiling and seems welcoming them but when brown enters they make stupid faces also they put name india they are Bengali and food is all Bengali food not indian lairs !! They put sticker of visa mastercard etc the first thing they told when you enter is cash only no card just to avoid income tax .

Ordered Beef Madras - the waiter delivered Lamb Madras, most of the meat was firm, but edible, (small cubes).. sauce was very nice,Wife loved her tandoori chicken.Meal servings were normal for any restaurant, although it did take a long time, maybe that was the tandoori chicken ?‍♂️... (Longer than the advertised cooking time)..All in all a nice meal, and would definitely eat here again - if in the area

September 2023: Pleasant and attentive staff. The medium lamb balti lacked spice and was more like a tasty deep flavoured stew. The rice portion was tiny - certainly not one for sharing. The Dhansak was fairly well spiced. The beer was good. Vegetable samosas well overpriced for 2 tiny ones. Their preference is for cash but since we only had cards they located their card machine. Nice tasting but larger portions required (and I don't eat a lot!).

We had 2 meals, the chicken tikka masalla was the worst we ever had. Lumps in a bright red sauce, looked and tasted like tomatoo puree straigt from the tin. All in all, not appealing. Service, however, was very friendly. Payment only in cash.

Food was ok but the customer service was THE WORST. One of the waiters was very rude and when I asked for a napkin, he just showed me the toilet tissue because their napkins were 'expensive'

The worst of the worst "Indian" restaurants. Please don't be fooled by the word authentic prefixed to the cuisine. The moment you enter, you realise this is Bangladeshi - which is not an issue but why lie?The food is barely edible, at best.Extremely unprofessional staff. Bad food. Save your money and go hungry.

Food.I always enjoy getting dinner here, the food is fantastic. It usually takes around 15 minutes for the food to come out, which is perfect when going out for food as you get the chance to chat with your partner/family/friends. Would definitely recommend the Chicken Pakora, the Chicken Curry and honestly all of the different naan breads are lovely! Popadoms are always nice and warm, and the sauces taste amazing!Service. The service is good, the staff are always very nice and very attentive! They always show genuine interest in how my day has been, and what I have been up to lately. They brighten my day when I go in for food, without a doubt! Lovely people.Atmosphere.The atmosphere is very warm and welcoming, the restaurant is beautiful and they play music too, I’m not sure what countries music or culture, and I don’t want to assume, but I always find it enjoyable in the background. All in all, the Prince of India is a great place for going out, or even getting takeaway! It’s a bit pricey, but sooo worth it!

28 August 2023 2.20pmI had a terrible experience at this Indian restaurant. The waiter displayed no understanding or empathy when my toddler was scared of the lights. Not only were we seated in an inconvenient corner, but the waiter's judgmental comments about my child made the situation even worse. To top it off, he ignored our order and served other guests who arrived after us. The overall service was utterly disappointing and insensitive.
