Excellent play with food. Great flavours and use of some unusual produce. The staff were gorgeous. It’s a very small restaurant so hats off to the lone chef who is cooking up a storm! Defo for foodies, or adventurous eaters and not for fussy eaters!! Loved it. Thank

We visited this evening (our first time visiting isleOf Skye) and it was absolutely fantastic. We ordered from the small plates menu, all the dishes were SO good. A lot of bold, strong flavours (which I love)Personal favourite was the venison tartare, lamb and the brocoli & sprouts. Having dined at various 2 and 3 star Michelin restaurants I think this restaurant is as good as those. Will definitely return if ever in the area again. I’d highly recommend booking as a few couples were turned away having not booked.Total cost for 3 courses and a bottle of wine for 2 was £150 which for the quality I think is very reasonable.

Had a wonderful dinner at this very charming restaurant. Couldn’t fault it even if the service was a bit slow from the kitchen. We had plenty of time as we were on holiday and we had exquisite food served by a very professional and welcoming

We have often found tasting menu experiences overly long. Too many places that offer tasting menus design their food to be technically clever, rather than satisfying the motivation to eat in the first place.I appreciate that our enjoyment of food has a huge amount to do with our ‘appetite’ in the moment. How we feel, our mood, affecting how receptive we are to the restaurant’s efforts. So, maybe we went to this cosy, welcoming restaurant in a good mood, but we found the food both delicious and memorable. (So much so I forgot to take photos of the two most successful courses…)I had never had hake served so tastily, and with a chicken broth! Venison, rolled in coffee (…?) was surprisingly tender and the cheese course was a novel success. If how memorable a dinner is, is a measure of its quality, then Scorrybreac deserves all of its Michelin accolades.

Easily one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in a long time, Scorrybreac offers delightful, creative, and filling dishes. Some favorites from our meal were the lamb, cod, and venison. The service was good and the space was charming and intimate. This spot needs to be at the top of your list while you’re in Skye.TL;DR - Worth every penny, you better go!

Not just the best meal we had in Scotland, this was one of our favorite meals ever! As good or better than any Michelin-starred place we’ve been. The food was creative, beautiful, and, most importantly, insanely delicious. I wish I could eat it all again! We also loved the cozy interior and the very friendly staff. Hope to be back someday!

We've booked a dinner at this restaurant about half a year before arriving. One month before arriving they emailed me that above stated date, they are closed over that week due to a family event. They lied that have tried emailing me a few times, and tried to phone, however my voicemail was full. ( I don't have a voicemail at all :-)Needless to say that all places we wanted to book in August had no free place.Think twice if to order at this place !

Overpriced for a rather lacklustre menu, not at all exciting or even very tasty. The service was very slow with one girl trying to serve the whole restaurant and getting things mixed up. We have eaten here before successfully but fear this will be our last visit

We had a fantastic meal here on a cold Sep evening. My wife and I enjoyed the tasting menu and the paired wines were al delicious. The menu had lots of local produce in offer and was put together creatively. Every course was superb.

Absolutely first class dinner. From the pre dinner cocktails in the spectacular bar with the best view of Portree, to the 8 memorable tasting menu dishes, I can not imagine anything that could be improved. Our waitress was amazing, made us feel right at home. If you're on Skye do not miss this place.

It’s hard to describe this so we will call it a fine and informative dining experience with a touch of class and a whole lot of fun. Our primary server, Nicki, made this evening extra special with her explanations of what we were eating. The vegetarian option was so similar to the standard fare so all four of us were delighted! One of us did the wine pairing and if we were to go again (hope we do) we would choose that option. Book your reservation well in advance of your visit to Portree. ENJOYVegetarian options: See initial write up.

My partner and I went to Scorrybreac last year, since we've been to The Barn at Moorhall. The Barn 1 star and Moorhall 2 star, (Michelin) I have no idea why Scorrybreac does not have a star yet, if not 2! I highly recommend you go out of your way to experience the excellent service and food.

What an amazingly exceptional restaurant located in remote Scotland! I’ve been to my fair share of Michelin listed restaurants and this rises very high on that list. From the exceptionally perfect service to the beautiful location to the world class tasting menu - it hits it out of the park. These dishes don’t just look good, they taste amazing as well and each bite makes you want to try more. They are also VERY accommodating to requests - it’s a seafood heavy menu but my dining partner doesn’t eat Seafood and they were willing to swap things around with notice. That just doesn’t happen in most high end tasting menu environments.
