Great fish and chip shop, never had a disappointing meal from them. Their pizzas are also really good.

We love this takeaway. We drive from Edinburgh for their stuff. Great menu tradional Italian home cooked food as well as the usual chippy stuff their pizzas are AMAZING. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I always like to try leave a tip for them. But unfortunately on Christmas eve I didn't have change We got the last of what they had left before closing beautiful place. I'll leave double tip next time. As they gave us a free sausage ?Vegetarian options: Various options availableDietary restrictions: Option available I thinkParking: Park Street side where you can lots available

Absolutely delicious. Ordered Fish & Chips and they honestly live up to their reputation! Fish was fresh and chunky, batter was crisp and light and the chips had a nice crunch to them.I'm salivating just writing this ... away to order another portion ...

The worst fish and chips I've ever had. The fish was swimming in grease. DISGUSTING!

What a rip off! I’ll easily pay £4.50 for a portion of chip at The Fringe, but it needs to be for a half decent portion! The portion I was served would have barely fed a half dead amoebae! Know times are hard, but come on! Times are just as hard for the punter! The only award I’d give is for rip off portion!

Their Prestonpans chippy is the best there is. Bar none. Good portions, gorgeous fish, big and fresh. The chips are good too, very generous with sauce as well. Every time we drive thru Prestonpans I have to get a fish supper there :)The stall by the beach however is way overpriced for much smaller portions, sadly.

3 years ago was delicious but now a days, it is the worst ever. I Had some fish and chips at Edinburgh fringe festival and was not tasting good and also i started to feel bad stomach and headache. Also another person who ate and was pn my group was feeling the same. It is coming very fat woth a lot of oil. Bueght. Avoiding for next fringe year.

Maybe use proper doner meat, instead of something that resembles sliced up shoe leather?? It was also cold by the time I got home (wallyford!!). Managed to heat it up a bit, but still, come on guys....

Fish and chips good but price extortionate. For £12 we received a fish sliced vertically in half ie a long half piece of fish. I’d hate to know how much they’d charge for a full fish supper. This is nothing but greed as no other chip shop in the area (that I know of) charges those prices or gives you half a fish

Very hit or miss chippie. Sometimes good, sometimes not. My most recent visit was very disappointing.

Used to be good, went for lunch with the family after spending all morning at the beach and was so looking forward to it. There was very little fish in it, more than 50% was just batter. Fries were horrible, scampi was horrible. Overpriced for what we got and such a disappointment. I had this horrible grease feeling in my stomach for the rest of the day. Not going back ever again.

This is for the Bents Longniddry. We visited this place after our family walk and it was good. I think the service is good, its Edinburgh prices but the food we had was good and the location was lovely so I dont begrudge the cost. The bacon butty was dry but the chips were good and we are looking forward to going there again. As I said, its a bit pricey for what you get and given its a bit pricey I might have expected a bit more but we ate it all up and enjoyed it so a well deserved 4 out of 5.

A nice little spot for fish & chips by the sea. Good system even though it was really busy, the lines went down quickly. Decent food too.
