Went into this pub this evening.Was greeted by a barman who wasn’t helpful at all.Was 0 drink available, asked 3 times for a draft beer which wasn’t on… had to ask what he had on!To then be served with a spirit, which was warm. To then have to be swapped.People came in for drinks while we were there & got told they were closing…It was only half 6?Not at all impressed by this pub… will not be back… considering this service & lack of variety in drink available!!

I'm Irish and the only thing applicable to this place from its name is the word scruffy. It doesn't look or feel like an Irish pub, it has a couple of gestures to the Irish hanging on the wall. The restaurant was closed until further notice (not that we would have eaten there), the 2 male staff were uninterested and one of them chose to use the "F" word and the "C" word on the phone while pouring my pint of very mediocre Guinness. It's a shame that proprietors can promote their pubs as Irish when they are nothing of the sort. My only recommendation is to stay away from this terrible excuse for a pub, Irish or otherwise.

Got to be the worst bar maid ever, her attitude was not good to the people who came in to the pub, not rude but no customer service what so ever. Her colleague was not any better. They both were shouting across at each other as well. Pls change your staff, it was embarrassing.

Went to Prestwick for the day last Saturday. My husband came along and he has a mobility problem and requires the use of a seat/walker as he needs to sit regularly and rest ,we tried various places around the area for something to eat. We thought we would try Scruffy Duffys Restaurant & Bar, we went into the premises around 2.15pm and sat down and folded up the walker went to the bar as no menu's on the tables and got told that there was no food on !. No other explanation given. We decided to have some soft drinks anyway as we had settled at a table. Draught Cola and Can diet Coke which was flat - no bubbles at all !. Won't be back here.

Food was not good at all dry and honestly thought it was cooked days ago, curry sauce was lumpy and chip shop stuff basically every thing is cheap n nasty lasagne was absolutely terrible and full of cheese

Just arrived from the Carlton hotel 3pm on a Tuesday walked in 2 people sitters no bar staff to be seen waited 13 minutes for a drink had to go into the kitchen for service the chef’s response was is she not there guess what out side sun bathing not be back shocking customer service ?
Customer service is shocking. Sent a message to the Facebook page as the number online is invalid. the message was read but no reply!
Food arrived cold, items missing. The burger was so dry.
Definitely not worth the money paid.
Would recommend that everybody avoids this restaurant!
