Sunday morning, quite busy with locals, which usually signifies a good pub. We were on a lightening visit but I would go back.

Bring me my meal with no coffee. Then told me I had to go to bar to order a drink, which the waitress said herself was very busy, even though I had ordered the coffee on the app. Walked out and have reclaimed cost of meal through my bank. Hate Wetherspoons.

Spoons #146, nice light modern looking interior, apparently once a Woolworths.Lots of local information about Prestwick and its association to aeronauticsOne of the quieter Spoons establishments we have recently been in.Never had anything to eat on this occasion so couldn’t rate itThe only place where Elvis stood on uk soil

Food was well cooked, beer was nice and Cold, crockery, cutlery and glasses were all clean. Service was good, busy, pleasant, friendly atmosphere and low prices.

Love it. The food is awesome, service is quicker than the speed of light. Highly recommend. If Goggle Maps had a function for 6 stars, this restaurant would deserve it ?.

Food is fine. Just the usual weather spoons, good value. Bar service is slow sometimes as there are fewer staff in afternoons.

Breakfasts are mostly cold even when you ask for it to be hot, food is practically thrown down on the table and even when you thank the staff you don’t get a response, staff are miserable including supervisors, come on Pioneer do something about this. It’s in a great location,

Ordered one of the Pizzas and Scampi to share with wife. Our meal arrived quickly and was very warm, superb!. We found the pizza to be absolutely delicious and far superior to a recent visit to Pizza Express (which was twice the price and half the service!) as that offered by Euan and his team at spoonies Prestwick. Chatting with Euan we said we would be in for breakfast in the morning, of which he said he would be on a day off as was on his 6th day in a row and looked forward to a day off. Amazing service with a smile from a hard working local spoonies manager. 10 / 10 from us.??????

SHOCKING….DISGRACEFULTook my disabled grandson to the pioneer to buy him a pizza. He has Cerebral Palsy and struggles badly with his speech and walking.Found a seat no problem as the place was half empty…9.15pm on a Tuesday night, I told him to have a look at the menu while I went to the bar for drinks. I happened to look over while standing at the bar and I could see a female member of staff talking to him, I presumed she was just chatting. But as it turned out she had actually pounced on him while he was on his own and was harassing him for I.D. She told him he wasn’t allowed here after 9pm without I.D to prove his age (he’s 22 ). She then approached me at the bar and asked if I was with that person over there.I tried to explain to her that he was my grandson and he was disabled and that he was 22 and doesn’t drink alcohol and was just in for a bite to eat.But she was not interested and insisted we left as we had no I.D to prove his age.I had to walk home with him and get his passport and walk back to show it just to get him a pizza and a soft drink. The only reason I went back was to keep him calm as I didn’t want him blaming himself for what had happened as he is very self conscious about his disability. An absolutely shocking and disgraceful experience. Needless to say I won’t be returning and wouldn’t advise anyone to go here with a disabled person after 9pm.

Very busy bank holiday Monday. Drinks were served quickly to the table after ordering on the app. Food not too far behind. My only grumble is the beans. Defo not heinz although I don't think they any longer claim to be. I usually enjoy toast to dip in my beans but the flavour today just wasn't to my taste or enjoyable. Cost of living going for the cheap beans? Perhaps.

Bar service good. Table delivery. Poor. Cheese burger and chips would have been perfectly good value if hadn't been cold. Ate it because I was very hungry. I presume the person delivering was making a joke! As he warned me not to burn myself on plate

If I could give zero I would. Small group of friends attended here for dinner, some had a couple of drinks and some did not. On ordering our third round we were told we were “drunk”…not one of us were with some not consuming alcohol at all. When staff were queried to explain they refused to do so. Not one of us were loud, offensive, drunk, disorderly, violent or argumentative so it was an absolute mystery. On speaking to the manager Natasha she merely continued to state “I don’t need to tell you why”. Quite clearly a case of they didn’t want our custom on an otherwise quiet night. Unfortunately this was embarrassing for our party with other members of the public also advising Natasha that she was treating us unfairly. We are all still at a loss as to what the “issue” was other than the staff just couldn’t be bothered. Their loss will be another one of prestwick’s finer pubs gain. None of us will be back. My advice…if you want peace to enjoy your evening with a decent service then spend slightly more and go elsewhere. Apology letter from Wetherspoons on behalf on Natasha and her staff was the only positive out of this experience.

Attended here in a group of 9 friends on a Monday night around 6pm. Staff waited until our party had ordered two rounds of drinks plus food before refusing to serve us any more alcohol, the reason being as some members of the group were drunk. 4 were sober and driving! When asked to point out who in the group appeared to be drunk, the female staff member couldn’t elaborate! (As no one was drunk)??‍♀️ My friend asked to speak to the manager and no manager was available (strange). The young staff here just want an early finish, they are intimidated by groups and if your face doesn’t fit, they say you’re too drunk and they won’t serve you. I wonder if it’s because we didn’t tip on the first round?!? The food was terrible and the atmosphere is zero. Don’t expect to enjoy any more than two reasonably priced drinks in here as after that you’re out! I won’t be back.
