Very good hotel, we slept there one night, arrived from the airport in the middle of the night (11 p.m.) they came to open it for us in 5 minutes, then the next day we left our luggage during the day and they were monitored.A big thank you to the staff for their welcome and the services they offer!

Very nice surprise!The hotel is a little dated but the bedding is comfortable. The rooms and bathrooms are clean. The staff is welcoming and smiling.There is a pub below the hotel where the atmosphere is warm.I am delighted with my stay.

The staff on arrival was helpful and showed us to the room. It is very basic in all ways, clean but décor is fading.. There was however such a strong smell to the bathroom of drains. There are signs up regarding nothing but toilet paper down the toilet, so perhaps there are issues. The smell could not be escaped.

Because it doesn't serve breakfast on Saturdays, the rooms are not warm,the staff don't have time to listen to guests,the Internet is not available WiFi without Internet connection and the television service is not functional.Medium rear beef at the restaurant is basical

Poor! The only pleasant thing about our stay was Scott who checked us in welcoming and friendly. The room was a bit of a mess in terms of furniture, we had a small cafe style table that if you farted near it it will fall over. No string on the light above the bed. The stairs to the rooms were a bit of a health hazard unless you have the vision of a fox. The shared shower/toilet was terrible I would have been quicker standing in the rain to wash as the trickle of water from the shower is pathetic and also the temp control on the shower is really non existent if I wanted my totties boiled I would have used a pot and pan. No one around to ask and even the staff we did see could not have been any less helpful really, no coffee in the morning as apparently no one asks for coffee so they don't put the machine on. Also advised not to eat in the restaurant by the delivery driver.Maybe OK if you are desperate for a short over night but no more than that. No one available to actually complain or discuss anything with

We used this place prior to flying from Edinburgh Airport, we were met by lovely staff, location was good for us and room was clean and ok just the bed wasn't very comfortable.

Would not stay here againNo disabled facilitiesBooked 2 rooms on ground floor 2 find out when arrived rooms were on top floor 3 of the party I was with struggled to climb the 4 flights of stairsAnd had to share toilet and shower facilities with guests.

I booked this hotel using Hotels.com BUT they are no longer part of the OYO and do not work with Hotels.com so although I'd paid for the room the hotel had not received it. However the Manageress couldn't have been more helpful. They managed to organise a room for us by switching around some reservations. The room was very large and immaculately clean. But, more than anything the staff were outstanding......I've stayed in 4 star properties who could take a lesson in customer service from the Gothenburg staff!!

Not technically my experience but friends were staying theyr this weekend middle of pandemic and was shocked to discover from friends that they have no night porter had to phone to be let in like that's not bad enoughNO CLEANER the bar is next door same building.and it's the bar manager that said they have niether a cleaner nor a night porter that she would pass on the complaint but would clean it for them they weren't keen on that idea givin the state of clenliness I'd be appalled if the restraunt was without a cleaner don't even want to think about that??

Very VERY loud and noisy. Checked in at 1- wanted an afternoon nap after long travel. There was a kids party on until past 5…. No nap for me. Was told it would only be a couple hours. It felt like I was at a rave the music was so loud and thunderous. Will never stay here again! Paper thin wall and doors.
