One of Scotlands hidden gems, this place is fabulous, amazing views, great food, loads of places to walk and a nice touch of very important history thrown in for good measure. Loch Katrine is also a wonderful highlight with great boat trips too.

In a word: perfect! We stopped at this bistro to warm up a little in front of Loch Katrine. My black pudding/chorizo salad was delicious as was the latte. The staff were really friendly so I can only recommend this place. Thank you so much !

The Pier Cafe is in a fabulous location on the edge of Loch Katrine. Sitting inside or outside you have wide views over the Loch and, if you're taking the steamer, can see it coming. The food is very good for brunch, lunch and later and the service is friendly and smart.Parking: A small payment for parking, to fund the Sir Walter Scott Steamer Trust is requested

Above and beyond in the wilds of Scotland , when the smell of freshly baking scones got too much for my willpower I had to order some and they were delivered to my door .

Stunning location, friendly service and really tasty food! We visited as a family of five having not been to the Pier cafe under the new ownership. Great to see the cafe open especially during the quieter winter season and really enjoyed our visit - would highly recommend the Haggis and Red Onion Chutney toastie which was special!

Bacon roll and a latte on a cold frosty morning with views to take all your troubles away...

Super food, incredibly wonderful location and such friendly and helpful staff - we had a little problem with our car due to driving down the narrow roads and the owner was so good about assisting us, far beyond the usual requirements.
