The Pier Cafe
Stronachlachar, StirlingThis cafe has to be good. It sits on the south pier of Loch Katrine and accessed either by boat or by an arduous near 12 mile drive from Aberfoyle on a single track road. It therefore has to attract customers.
That said, it delivered! Entrance is into a cozy front room with serving counter, a selection of tables and chairs and a wood burning stove. Off this room is a large conservatory (and main dining area) with views overlooking Loch Katrine and the mountain range beyond.
So to the food. I opted for the Cullen Skink accompanied by a haggis, red onion and cheese toastie whilst my wife chose the cheese steakburger, salad and skin on fries. Photographs attached.
In summary, the setting is idyllic, the cafe itself is quite quirky with a modern conservatory extension, the food was top notch and the service was excellent. I forgot.to add that it is dog friendly.

Coach House Coffee Shop and Store
Church Road, Loch Lomond, LussLovely cute coffee shop in Luss. Staff friendly and polite. We had soup of the day and haggis on rainy cold day-food was amazing and satisfying. Would recommend to try out this coffee shop if around Luss.
