16 Bradshaw St, SaltcoatsWas there for dinner and the restaurant was absolutely packed, so busy it was very difficult to hear the person next to you speaking. The waiting staff were great and the service was good in spite of their being so busy. I was also given a great recommendation on my chosen dish which turned out to be genius because their Lamb Jaipuri was the best I’ve ever tasted. It was perfection on a plate. The nan bread was fresh out the oven and the poori which my husband had as a starter was amazing. Once the food had arrived conversation was less important somehow. Five stars all the way on the food, the friendly staff, the table service and did I mention the quality of the food? If there are any negatives it’s on table availability and waiting times - which I guess reflects their reputation locally and the excellence of the chef. Literally can’t wait to have another meal there.

72 Hamilton St, SaltcoatsLovely cafe, the food was great, came out quick, staff were so helpful and nice, and didn't need a booking, we just walked in on a Sunday morning on Mother's day! We were looking for somewhere nice to treat mum and this was just what we were looking for! The breakfast, fish and chips, burger and chowder, all were really tasty and the coffee was very good, hot and iced. The decor and history decorating the walls is refreshing and interesting to read, they also seem to have a lot of events and music in the evening, and are dog friendly, which is amazing!

68 Hamilton St, SaltcoatsWe went for lunch yesterday with my daughter and friend, we ordered two peperoni pizza and chips two bottles off coke a can off diet coke a coffee and some chips, the service was good however the food was awful, the chips were not cooked properly in the middle not eatable, the pizza wasnt very nice at all, we ordered peperoni however it was a cheese pizza with Salam on top which wasn't cooked. Then we went to pay the bill we were charged 34.40 which was completely over priced for what we had and considering the food was terrible. My daughter was still hungry so went to another place to have our lunch. We certainly won't be back awful food frozen chips not cooked properly and pizza was disgusting and completely overpriced.

Turkish Food Club
49A Hamilton St, SaltcoatsI was searching for a decent kebab place this side of Glasgow for years and i finally found it. Excellent quality donner with plenty of fresh healthy salad and homemade chilli sauce. Although, putting chilli sauce on top of the salad seems to be a local trend I prefer my chilli sauce underneath the salad, so i have to ask for this specifically when ordering.

Lovely waitress who seemed very caring and genuine. The wee place has character and the surroundings are lovely. Can't fault the place atall 5 star.

The Esplanade, SaltcoatsI’ve been here loads of the years - generally when I return home for a week or two. It’s by far and away the best coffee around. There’s no bitter edge to it like you often get. A bonus that the staff generally remember what I order when I’m back in the area!\n\nOh and the food is also pretty decent.

If I ask for it hot and spicy, it comes hot and spicy. This is our go to place now. Oh and it's very very reasonably priced.

Eglinton Diner Fish Fry
28-30 Windmill St, SaltcoatsCame to Saltcoats on holiday and decided to visit the diner as seen some great reviews, we got fish a chips and the portion sizes were very good for the price too the food tasted amazing specially the chips they were delicious a crisp outside with a soft centre and wasn't over greasy like some can be. \nWe then visited for a second time as we enjoyed it so much and it was even better the second time round. \nStaff that we met with were very friendly and welcoming, our group would give it 10/10 \nThankyou hope to come again in the future.
