First time with family from out of town. Trying out menu for a future booking.Fish & Chips meal was rated 7/10 batter was over cooked, price gor quantity 15% Over. The Curry dish was rated 6/10 as Curry sauce was extremely spicy, regular eater of Asian food.Turkey Dinner rated 5/10. Was the Christmas Turkey Dinner offering???To start;Carrots & Parsnips hot but undercooked. White cabbage & red wet & cold.Turkey slices sadly tasteless.Roast potatoes hard in centre.Gravy in a small pot was just too glumpy, best way to describe.Biggest let downs!!NO BRUSSEL SPROUTS !AND. THE WORST SIN OF THE MEAL!!NO CRANBERRY SAUCE!!!This was extremely upsetting!Waiter was informed and sadly no explanation was forthcoming from Kitchen! Why NO CRANBERRY SAUCE or Brussel Sprouts. As for "pigs in blankets" !! Well the 2 wee cocktail sausage size wouldn't even make One !! ( another customer mentioned the above).Wine was over priced for this establishment. Its Pub Grub!Need to do better to have us try again.Dietary restrictions: Poor choices on menu. Not clear..

Had a family meal here while staying at Hunters Quay Holiday Park. The food was great and the staff were friendly and attentive. One of the most enjoyable meals out in a while thanks to great staff and the chef/ lovely food I don't know where the cherry tomatoes served with the steak were from but they were the sweetest and tastiest tomatoes I have ever tried.

Decent grub

Had to wait 40 minutes for breakfast. Half the staff is there against their will. For a 3-star hotel you expect them to be better prepared. The man in the room did his best. Breakfast very basic. Like the whole concept.

Visited Restaurants Saturday night only to be told that the restaurant is full all tables had reserved on them and can’t seat 2 people 4 staff standing waiting on all these bookings coming in. Even though there was only 14 people eating in the restaurant at this point so we wend Down to the Lorne in dunoon and it was fantastic excellent service and the food was exceptional. On my return to the site I went in to see how busy the restaurant was and yes all the tables still had reserved on them so with better management we could of eaten in there. Spoke to someone who said she was the manager even though she was not in uniform and she said they had lots of big bookings coming in and if I wanted a table I would need to book 3 days in advance. Poor poor customer service Would not recommend snd would suggest you book the Lorne better value for money and far better service This sites services are going down hill quick I suggest someone wakes up listens to customers and acts quickly

We have been here many times over the years.. It has a little something for everyone. It is pretty big and bold now in the entertainment area. Very marmite

In Dunoon for the Scottish Rally Championship event in the town and needing to feed the service crews after a hard day setting the cars up and before the evening stages. Reviews were not great however I have to say that the the experience was pretty good. Staff all very polite and attentive, drinks served promptly, orders taken and food - well cooked and nicely presented followed without any delay. Primarily serving the many staying on the site it was good value for money.

Stayed at the site for 4 nights.Drinks are expensive.Breakfast was really, really salty, so salty i couldn't finish it.The sausage was a bit tough. The rest of it was good, but as I've mentioned, the salt content was awful!

Mixed bag here being honest.Tried the evening menu and wasn’t disappointed with the standard of food or portion sizes. Drinks are slightly expensive, but expected for a holiday park. Food prices are reasonable too.The sharing starter offered good value, and the highlander burger was epic. Was disappointed with the paltry chip count with that, but once consumed after sharing the starter was suitably full. I’d be slightly disappointed if it was just a main I ordered. Kids meals were great value, certainly not tiny portions as you usually get. Quality as kids expect, quantity as parents expect.Tried the breakfast the next day and the quality wasn’t the same. Good quality eggs but small. Lorne sausage tough, bacon fatty. Vegetarian breakfast almost dire. I enjoyed the vegetarian “haggis” but the vegetarians didn’t. Service was a little disjointed too in the morning.I’d return for an evening meal but will swerve the breakfasts in future.
