Charming little place with lovely friendly staff, only had coffees from there, but the cakes on display look gorgeous.

£8.50 for 7 item breakfast is very pricey indeed and was mediocre at best. Could have used proper beans also instead of water sauce ones. Alot better for the money short distance away. Will pass next time.

Very, very disappointed as this cafe was previously very good. The toasted sandwiches were not toasted properly, horrible cheese and very little of it, cheap nasty ham.The tea was advertised as pot of tea but we were given just cups of tea, had to ask for pot and were given a small teapot for the three of us. The one thing that was good was the service, a very nice helpful young woman served us. It was very quiet in there so can't make the excuse they were busy. We had travelled a long way to meet up after reading the good reviews. Sadly won't be back

Pleasant surprise on the way to the Isle of Bute. Delicious home made soups. Nice sandwiches. Good reason to stop at this small gas station. Friendly service. Hit the breaks there and have lunch. Also a laundry service around the corner.

Delicious food and wonderful, friendly service! We had the Gourmet Burger, pea soup, and raisin scones as takeaway. Absolutely top notch.
Have visited here before but didn’t write a review .. so sorry to the owner as the staff then and now we’re friendly , attentive and the meals again were super. Looking forward to visiting again.

As the 3 stars state, it was ok. Higher than normal pricing for the quality given. It's a greasespoon really but not a great one.

Had a lovely lunch here - burger and fries and possibly the best onion rings I've ever had in my life. The cakes looked nice as well but I was too stuffed to eat any.

Stopped off for lunch on our way for a holiday to Ayrshire. The food was excellent and staff were really nice and helpful. The toilets and facilities were very clean and prices were very reasonable for the quality of food that was served. Fuel prices at the garage were competitive and the little shop was well stocked with goodies for our journey. Little places like this put the motorway services to shame. Look forward to calling again on our travels
