Welcoming, professional lovely staff. Dog friendly place serving good portions and nice foods. Burger was tasty with the bun a little dry and a tiny bit of relish. Tasted better than it looked when I got it. Not the cheapest but certainly worth a visit if you are in the area.

Really great food!! We got sat upstairs and the views are incredible!! The only downfall I noticed was being upstairs you were not attended too as often as you were as the people sitting downstairs. Our server/waiter was too busy staring at a laptop screen across the room and so we went through long periods of waiting for drinks and such. But other than that the food was AWESOME!!

The restaurant by the bridge with nice little trains in front of and inside the restaurant. Love the atmosphere how the restaurant is decorated.Soup of the day was good.Fish and chips, outside is crispy but fish is tender.Ice cream is really good.

Had an impromptu lunch here on a Sunday. Ordered Cesar salad and coffee which was quite good. Food is on a pricey side, but expected for a prime location. The mini train is a lovely and unexpected touch and the views of the Forth Rail Bridge ???. Perfect for brunch/ lunch after a walk at the

We have eaten at the Railbridge Bistro numerous times over the past ten years or so and it has always been a favourite of ours. Unfortunately, having not visited for around a year we returned for dinner but were disappointed. The quality of our meal was poor and did not reflect the increase in price that we had noticed and the good quality that we had previously become accustomed to over the years. A 10 percent service charge was also automatically added to our bill. Having been faithful customers over the years it was shame to see this slip in standards and we hope that it will return to its previous high standards.

Breakfast was poor for the price!! Staff have little engagement with customers, not one smile… and these are people serving tourists ? The place could do with a good clean to!!

I only went in for a coffee. The place didn’t seem very clean and the sofas were very old and saggy. Despite there being 4 staff huddled and chatting (and one had sat me down in that area so was aware of my existence) nobody came. I then ordered my coffee and it was brought by someone from the kitchen and dumped down. I then had to interrupt the huddle again and ask for sugar as this hadn’t come with the coffee. 7 sugar packets were dumped down. On leaving I was shocked to see 10% added for only a coffee! It’s more expensive than the Caledonia Waldorf Astoria in Edinburgh city centre at £4.40. And the coffee was weak. It wasn’t even that busy. It’s a shame as I’m sure the business owner wouldn’t want their customers writing such reviews but it really needs an upgrade on all aspects.

Overpriced, poor servers and condescending messages on the wall. We’ve been here before and thought it was expensive but the food was decent. This time around the food is just borderline too expensive now, the service is pretty poor and you get charged 10% service charge for the pleasure.

Over priced. Menu was basic, portions very small. Opened sandwich was one slice of toasted bread with topping? Thought an open sandwich was just a sandwich opened, 2 slices Will not be back again. If you want the same view there's plenty of benches opposite so just grab yourself something from one of the shops

Popped in for food for the kids, One lactose intolerant, and a snack for two adults. 1 kids macaroni meal, one kids chips as no lactose (Vegan) food for kids, One cream scone and one soup, with juice, £41, then 2 kids ice cream cones, £7. Was very quiet when we went in at 17.15, started getting busier as we left. Not ideal for kids, not a great choice for Vegans. Lovey views of the bridges. Doubt we will be back, two pricey for local town.

Enjoyed a few hours here overlooking the Forth bridges. Plenty of seating outside and in, very well kept restaurant. Varied menu, something for everyone- enjoyed the Cullen Skink and neeps, tatties and haggis- plus a delicious ice-cream. Reasonable prices, kind helpful staff, good facilities and gift shoppe...

Lovely service, my dog was made a fuss over, especially by dark haired lady at front of house, she has a wee Shitz-shu! All staff were really nice and the food was great - will be back!

Some of the menu was not available so we opted for 2 steaks, 4 bottles of the small 330ml water and 2 carry out coffee's and it came to £78.21 !!!!!!!! Shocking, won't be back !
