I was lucky to stay here in October. The location is very convenient and the view was spectacular. I enjoyed high tea upon my arrival and a delicious breakfast the next morning. Many of the guests were Scottish and came for the dinner, which appeared to be wonderful with professional cooks. The rooms have a lodge feeling, the bathrooms are very modern and clean. I would love to return someday.Food & drinks: The quality of the food was outstanding and the cooks very good. The dining room area has spectacular views, and is very cozy at the same time.

Amazing hotel and restaurant. Beautiful views, delicious gourmet food, and staff just wonderful.

Stayed here for our first night of walking the Great Glen Way. An amazing welcome with a tea and a scone, followed by an incredible dinner. The room was clean and warm and had lots of lovely touches from the toiletries to the proper coffee. We loved staying here and would definitely stay again. Highly recommended.

This review is for the restaurant - we had the five-course menu and everything was delicious so well worth the price (£55). Ambiance and service were great too and there was great attention to detail throughout. Had been here before in 2021 and I’m happy to say it has even improved since

We booked for dinner and the food was very good although a little expensive for the content, it was flavour full and beautifully presented however.Sadly the he service did not match the food. Although we had booked and were a party of 5 on a Monday night we got the impression that the lady who greeted us whilst polite was very much looking on us with disapproval which set a tone that continued throughout the evening as this was a meal out organised by my son and daughter in law to celebrate my birthday as they had eaten here on a previous visit this was very disappointing.Food & drinks: Nice food but on the expensive side and a little style over substance

This was - by far - the best stay I had on our 8-week hiking adventure through the UK. The hosts were beyond kind and supportive. The dogs were truly welcomed. The place is like a safari lodge (and aside from the gorgeous views you have geese and goats grazing in the garden). And then there's the food. After the first course I asked whether they had or aspired to have a Michelin star - turns out their chef trained with one. Absolute perfection!Thank you!Walkability: It's sort of on the great glen way and you can get a lift back to the route in the morning. It's not as far a spean bridge but a fair few miles on tarmac

Only ate here, wish we had stayed as well. Incredible meal! Wonderful service. The owner even offered to drive us to and from our hotel. Beautiful setting!

This review is only for the restaurant as we did not stay in the lodge. The food itself is very good - kudos the chef. But the price (55 pounds per person for a pre-fix menu plus tip, no drinks included, and no a la carte menu option) is unjustified. And no real hospitality at this place, at least by US standards. We had a very nice, very young girl attend to us and I'm sure she will make an excellent waitress in the future, but to not know the menu, not know the ingredients when presenting the dishes and not offer any real description of the dish other than "the trout" is not what you expect from a restaurant charging this much.

Excellent location, food, and ambiance. The location is indeed at the heart and sight of Ben Nevise. We walked all over it. Both nights that we were there had striking sun downs on the mountain. Also the three geese were a hoot. The food was Michelin star quality. Wine menu wide and my wife was pleased with ther version of a Manhattan. I had a great after dinner drink from Hungary. I had a food allergy which was deftly handled.Owners and staff made two very relaxing days.Rooms: Clean with nice touches though small.

A lovely bed and breakfast conveniently located between the Isles and Glennfinnan and Glencoe.Breakfast is healthy and tasty. The full Scottish isn’t large as expected but with the fruit yoghurt and toast it makes a filling homely breakfast. The haddock is also delicious. The family room is spacious and clean, with lovely cookies ;)It’s definitely worth spending at least two nights here on the peaceful country road. Our journey from the Isle of Skye took a little longer so we weren’t able to enjoy the dinner here. (Thank you for staying up late for us!) Looking forward to coming back and one day.

The Old Pines Hotel Restaurant is situated in a lovely setting. Some ducks and then goats passed by the garden when we ate there. The food was delicious and well presented with good combinations of flavours.

This is a charming place in beautiful setting that serves some of the best food in the area. They greet you warmly at arrival and take very good care of you during your meal. Very pleasant experience.

We ate here after our first night's walking on the Great Glen trail. A 5 course menu - my wife's vegan and mine pescatarian. Each course was presented beautifully and full of flavour - my wife's including celeriac, asparagus, artichokes and wild garlic. Mine included trout, garlic ravioli and a dark chocolate mousse. A great price and plenty of options for everyone. A wonderful setting too as we watched the goats outside wander around. Excellent food, the best of our trip.

Visited for dinner as we know the chefs and the quality of food they produce. The scenery is amazing. Views across the great glen towards Ben nevis. Free ranging goats and geese. The restaurant area is largely glass making the most of the views. It surrounds a cosy lounge area where you can view the menu and have a pre dinner cocktail. The food is amazing. Mostly locally sourced or forraged. Great value for the quality of food you get.Food & drinks: Fresh local produce well combined, delicious
