We waren er rond 14.00 en ze zouden sluiten om 15.00 maar om 14.15 begonnen ze al met vegen en stofzuigen ook bij onze tafel waar wij nog zaten te eten dat kon ik niet op prijs

Stopped here hoping for a coffee and cake, bouyed by the good reviews and thinking it is dog friendly. But.They have a new policy of one dog per party, and as we had three dogs we could not come in. We had three dogs and four adults, and had we been four separate adults each with one dog we could have come in. The nice lady (and she was nice) explained that there had been problems with dogs running around and eating off plates, so I understand a change in policy, but if one person with one badly behaved dog can come in, but four people with three well behaved dogs, all on leads cannot, when the cafe is empty, seems a bit odd. Why not just ban dogs and alter the listing, rather than creating inconveniences by claiming to be dog friendly.

Bit of a regular stop for us as we're often passing this way. A good menu, always tasty and freshly prepared. Lovely friendly people and great service. Well worth a stop! They certainly went the extra mile yesterday - a booked group of 20 arrived when we had just entered - they still found us a table and we were still served in a comfortable time scale.

Very handy place to stop off on your travels and get a bite to eat. Very quick service with reasonable prices and very good food too. Plenty of parking outside.

We just stopped here on Christmas day and they were very welcoming even though there was a private function going on. Amazing hot chocolate as well ? On top of it they didn’t accept any compensation and said to pass it on! Amazing folds, makes us love the north even more ❤️
