“A lovely place in the heart of the town to enjoy light delights at a very reasonable price. On a blustery and solemn October day, I bought a cup of chicken soup and some breakfast tea. To my delight those provisions were accompanied with a fluffy and airy roll. If I have any major critique it is that I did not immediately see the sizable, atmospheric upstairs dining area, with its rustic wooden tables and old newspaper clippings plastered on the walls. The entire cafe seemed focused on takeaway, which is fine and makes sense given its central location, but I wish that I had been able to more clearly see the inviting dining area. There are a dozen satisfying cafes in St Andrews, but you will not be disappointed if you choose this one.”
