“Expensive but worth it. One of the best meals I’ve ever had… exquisitely prepared and served all through. No stupid vertical smoke-filled mousses etc just excellent food in just the right quantity. Wine reasonable value for a top end restaurant. Staff attentive but not servile. Views extraordinary. Will be back!”

“We were staying in the hotel and had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant. Both meals were very good with friendly staff. Dinner menu is focussed towards meat eaters but we had lovely fish and vegetarian dishes. As it is fixed price for 2 courses at dinner then it does seem expensive for non meat eaters especially when adding in cost of side dishes. Food was lovely though and beautifully presented. Great views over the golf course and up to the buildings of St Andrews itself.”
