“What a wonderful surprise - very friendly helpful team of people. We came across The View when we were following the coastal route to Newton Stewart but unfortunately it was closed that particular day. We went to The View on the following Sunday. We were warmly welcomed and shown to a table where there was a lovely menu - our waitress was Jenny who was very helpful and very knowledgeable about gluten free food. I had a gluten free crab and coleslaw jacket potato followed by a gluten free brownie - hubby had a ham and cheese toastie followed by a piece of apple pie and custard - we both enjoyed our food. Unfortunately we had to return home sooner than expected so we were unable to pay a second visit. We will return when next in the area.”
