Fast-food type restaurant with take-out and eat-in options. Dishes with good large portions at a reasonable price (even if the fries were a little bland). On the other hand, the staff are really lovely with customers and proactive.

The smallest / thinnest piece of fish you could find to batter and fry is what I ended up with. Chips were ok but very disappointing

Pop in for last minute fish supper as our usual chippy in Bofa was closed. Surprisingly good fish. Chips could be better and fish could be bigger.

Our experience in The Blue Lagoon overall was great, we decided to try dining in and we weren't disappointed. Our waitress let us choose our own seat, showed us the menu and we had food ordered not too long after that. The presentation of the restaurant was very fitting and the decor really worked with the whole vibe they were going for, especially the strip lighting on the walls, it felt very modern and most importantly it was spotlessly clean. We ordered a white pudding supper and smoked sausage, both of which were very fresh and delicious, our only complaint was the smoked sausage could have been slightly bigger than just half a sausage and maybe a handful more chips on each plate but the food did speak for itself as the flavours were excellent, batter was nice and crispy on the white pudding and the chips were fluffy. To finish off our meal we decided to go for the classic deep fried mars bar and ice cream and this definitely didn't disappoint, the batter was crispy, and the mars bar was piping hot 10/10. If you're looking for a good "chippy" in Stirling then I wouldn't hesitate again on coming back here, brilliant.

I keep trying to give this place the benefit of the doubt, but this last meal was tasteless .over fried ,brick hard batter .why does this place get it wrong , it’s not exactly complex dining. I give ,up no more chances .I’ll stick the bridge of Allan cafe ……..so much better.

I love visiting because they have gluten-free fish and chips. I ate here rwice while visiting, and the portion size was good for the price. I saw the dedicated gluten-free fryers and I watched them cook my food fresh.

Take away gluten free fish and chips was amazing. Full of taste and not greasy at all. Fish supper and smoked sausage supper was had too and my family loved it. Mushy peas were ace.Highly recommended.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free option is a must.

This has to be one of the worst chips shops I’ve been to. The chips were strange, the fish full of bones, the batter strange coloured and tasting. Even the ketchup was awful so didn’t save what was a terrible waste of money.

Always serves top notch fish n chips. Also have a separate halal fryer for Muslims, so for me that's great
