Very friendly staff. Good usual costa goodies. Clean and lots of seating

Andrew Perry

Warm relaxed and friendly Costa. Prices are a little higher than standard. Plenty of seating.

Generic, characterless, mediocre. Not disappointing, just bland. I can barely muster the enthusiasm to write a review.

Over £4 for a small coffee.. scandalous

Couldn't read the board for what drinks were on offer because of so many stupid ads. After all that time wasted on trying to read the ad board on a time crunch we found out we couldn't even get the drinks we wanted (bubble tea) because they didnt have the straws. Staff are nice enough though and apologised which I appreciate. But they should be better equipped and get a normal drinks menu that allows customers to read whats on offer. And get some damn straws!!! Not a good costa for a place that is a rest stop.

I'm here at 2030hrs on a Monday night it is not open so it is definitely not open 24/7.

Having heard mixed reviews about the Pirnhall I was pleasantly surprised and delighted with my recent visit. The food was excellent value for money however what made it excellent was the warm welcome we received from Gary along with his staff Ashleigh and Amy, will definitely return.

We visit the Pirnhall Inn now and again and we always receive a warm welcome. Today we went for a family breakfast. It was nearly the end of the breakfast time, but everything was still available and the food all appeared to be freshly cooked. Best of all kids eat free.. We all enjoyed our food and our server (Gary I think) made us feel really welcome. We’ll be back again.

Food was nice and Garry the waiter was excellent. He was doing everything himself and we did not wait long for anything. There was a large variety of continental breakfast and everything you could want for a cooked breakfast. Very cheap prices also. Would definitely return??

Arrived at 10.30pm expecting to have a nightcap before checking into the hotel, all the lights on but doors locked. Website states open to 11pm. Highly disappointing after a long journey, would of stopped for supplies had we known this! Hotel reception said they shut at 10 as it was quite.

Though the service was good the meal wasn't, the restaurant wasn't busy so there was no excuse for the very overcooked scampi and lukewarm chips, plus the tartare sauce was missing which I had to remind the waitress, the cobb salad with chargrilled chicken
