Sitting outside the restaurant with another passer by watching a young man serving customers at a table.
His outfit was black and white stripes with a hat also black and white.
Whoever designed this is totally offensive to the older generation.
They look like someone in a concentration camp.
No wonder there were very few customers in the restaurant

We didn't dine in, but instead used the new delivery service. It was appalling. We ended up with two cold pizzas, arriving more than half an hour after they had been collected. Our home is 5 mins drive/cycle away. The Delivery guy happily told us, 'oh well I picked up another two deliveries to do before you'. The restaurant were kind when I called to complain, and even suprised that the pizzas had taken so very long to travel a five minute distance and recommended we complain on the Pizza Express Chat. We did. All we were offered was a voucher for a pizza (meaning of course we would need to buy yet another one and risk it turining up, in order to have the free one as a meal for us). The restaurant is lovely, but do NOT order delivery from here.

Stopped off here for dinner on the way back up north at the end of our holiday. Great food and service. Was surprisingly quiet for Sat night. Kids meals very good value. Only disappointment was the cheesecake dessert, do not order! Not worth £3.50 never mind £7.50, it was tiny, no side cream or ice cream. Raised it with the staff and they said pricing is set by HQ, but didn't offer refund or discount despite asking.

Busy and the 2 servers could have used a 3rd on shift but didn't wait too long for anything and they were both very nice.7yr old loved everything 3yr at least had the garlic bread and ice cream ?Kid-friendliness: Have hats to color in and a page of puzzles to entertain the boys for 5 mins lol

Nice pizza place to eat at. Staff were great and very attentive and chatty. The atmosphere was comfortable and relaxed. The food was delicious, however both pizzas we got (Sloppy Giuseppe and BBQ Burnt Ends) were finished with pepper… a lot of pepper, and we finished our meals with our mouths burning. That said, the food was truly delicious, and I would recommend Pizza Express to any pizza loving person.
