Food amazing. Service always great. Always get small fish and chips and the fish is not what i would class as small. No complaints. Turkish delight ice cream always to take home.Kid-friendliness: Great with kids.

Went in with a colleague when passing. Absolutely delicious fish and chips, got the small and was stuffed after it. Can only imagine what the large fish is like! (I seen one and it looks a beast!) Batter was absolutely spot on, not a soggy bit in sight.

Lovely food, staff and atmosphere. The fish and chips were on par with some of the best I've had, and the staff were so welcoming. Would highly recommend.

Excellent (possibly the best) fish and chips & friendly staff.Good quality tartar sauce and mushy peas helped to elevate the perfectly battered and fried fish. Will definitely be back. They are even dog friendly ?

Love this cafe in ‘Bridge Of Allan for fish and chips! ? Located right between Stirling and Dunblane, one stop on the train! ? I go here every so often! Ice cream is fab too! Amazing chippy and the staff are friendly ☺️ Right by the river in Bridge Of Allan so it’s easy to takeaway and sit in the park next to the river ?in the cafe you can also see all the old pictures of the town which is interesting ☺️
Have been a frequent customer since early ‘80’s. Food is consistently high. Hadn’t been for two years due to Covid but visited recently and food was exceptionally good. Disappointed to discover that having been asked when order taken if Tartare Sauce was wanted I was amazed to then be charged an extra £1.20 for this. Moreso since it wasn’t particularly enjoyable. Attitude at the checkout was apathetic and dismissive, Arrogant and couldn’t care less. Spoiled the experience.

We visited the Allanwater Cafe today and it was good. I ordered the belgian chocolate sundae it was tasty, quite pricey but would recommend this place if your passing by

Great food. Best chippy around Stirling. Very busy at dinner time, but queue moves quick. Portions are generous.Vegetarian options: Not many vegetarian dishes. Really just chips.
