Had lunch with friends here. Very good service, excellent food and a pleasing selection of drinks. Lovely view over the harbour. Highly recommended.

Fantastic hotel. The location was excellent. Staff was all friendly. The room was larger than we were expecting and the bed was comfortable. Would definitely stay here

Too many things to list, but the fact there was a function on in the hotel which was directly underneath the bedrooms , and the restaurant was closed are but just rwo. The noise from the function carried on until nearer 1 in the morning. Had we been made aware of this at the time of booking we could perhaps made other arrangements. As for breakfast! That was continental, which we knew at the time of booking but the choice was poor and on short supply. Despite my efforts to make contact with this hotel to discuss the matters my emails have been ignored and no one is answering the telephone or replying to my messages I have left. Definitely not good enough for Scottish hospitality.

We go here quite frequently, food is always good, the beer menu is outstanding and the staff are always welcoming and friendly.

One night stay. Hotel was great, a really busy bar with a good atmosphere. Rooms were decent and clean. Only a continental breakfast option but it was adequate. We did not eat here but the restaurant was full. The staff were great. Definitely worth a visit. Hotel has great views over the harbour.

De kamer die wij hadden was niet fijn: de vloer is scheef, het bed klein, hard en voorzien van allergische reacties opwekkend beddengoed. Klachten hieromtrent werden wel goed opgepakt, al moesten we lang wachten tot er een manager aanwezig was die ons kon helpen. WIFI waardeloos.Food & drinks: Prima, maar wel kleine pub met eigen bier op tap. Goed restaurant op de 1e verdieping. Reserveren is noodzakelijk, maar je kunt ook eten in de pub.

Fantastic setting, lovely restaurant, delicious food & staff service was 1st class. Smoked duck salad was lovely as was the other 5 starters .. main meals were just as good. Overall a very pleasant lunch & well worth the money.

Just had a meal for our anniversary, one of few places open Monday evening. Food OK, but overpriced, Aberdeen prices? Same grub at nearby restaurants cheaper. Great beer selection, thanks to 6degN ownership.Was quiet when we were in, so probably 1 to 1 staff punter ratio, lol.

It’s a superb pub, hotel & restaurant overlooking the ancient harbour. However, I just find one of the greatest places for great bear. Wonderful atmosphere, great food but most importantly, the real ale is as good as it gets. We’ll kept, nice staff & a great choice.
