So grateful we found this place on a cold rainy windy day. The service was friendly and fish & chips was fantastic!

Usually one of our favourite places in Stonehaven, but we were left disappointed today.Booked for 12.45 on a Sunday because we were looking for somewhere local to enjoy a good Sunday roast. Came and and saw the roast written up on the chalk board as normal, and the cafe wasn’t too busy. When one of the servers cane to take our order 10 minutes later, we asked for 2 roast dinners, to which to told us “we don’t have any roast dinners left and won’t have for the next month.” At this point it was only 2 hours into lunch service and the Sunday roast was still written up on the specials board (it remained up there for the 3 hours we were in there). After we finished our meals we sat for over half an hour without anyone interacting with our table, despite the fact we were looking to order coffees and cocktails which would have added an extra £20 to our bill.We were there the day before also and had ordered coffees and waited half an hour for those also for them to never come…Disappointing.

This is a great water front spot for a bite to eat. Great coffee and the food was impeccable! Outstanding service and well worth your visit!

Absolutely amazing little place with delicious fish & chips and other goodies, and amazing service. We arrived here with a large group with some complicated orders and they were nothing but kind and served us with a smile. Thanks for a great visit!

Had a g reat meal with my wife. We both had the Steak Frites. We used to have something similar at Jamie Olivers which was very good. This was even better. So tasty & tender. Will definitely have it again. Been to Mollys a few time & as always, the service was first class. The waiter & waitress were so good.

Had a lovely lunch, food and service were great. We had the panko chicken and the salmon bagel. The food was good and came quickly, despite it being a busy lunchtime. The menu was good, offering something a bit different to what you often just see everywhere else. Staff were attentive and provided great and friendly service.

Dogs are welcome. Service was great even with the café packed to the gills. Good bacon butties, just what we needed before a long drive south to Leeds.

Here on a visit and found this coffee shop, had to wait for it to open which was not a problem. Lovely cup of tea staff were lovely pity we hadn't stopped here at lunchtime to try the food as the menu was lovely. I would have given this place 5 stars if it hadn't been for one of the waiting staff who was constantly putting his hands through his hair, then taking plates of food to customers

Lovely staff. We stopped for lunch at this restaurant yesterday and they could not do enough to help. Not only was our lunch tasty the staff went out of there way to help. I cannot recommend this business enough.

Ordered a vegan breakfast, and it arrived with egg. Explained that this was not vegan and the plate was taken back. Around 1 minute later, another plate of food arrived without egg. On closer inspection, it was clear that all they had done was remove the egg. This might not bother some people. However, I personally do not want to eat anything that has been sitting in egg. I asked the waiter, who confirmed that yes, they had just removed the egg! My 2nd plate of food was taken away and replaced with a 3rd plate. The 3rd plate was a fresh plate but the same food on it. At this point, I resigned myself to the fact that I would not be getting breakfast and declined the offer of a fresh breakfast. I was then offered cake, but there were no vegan options. The young waiter was lovely and tried his best to be helpful. Perhaps in future In this situation, ask the customer if they would be OK with the item being removed from the plate - my friend was OK with this and enjoyed it. I was not ok with it. I was disappointed as I really wanted to love this place. It's on the beach and has lovely decor and atmosphere. I must add that obviously I was not charged for the breakfast, and i appreciated not being charged for my tea.
