Spent a night here on Saturday. I was really disappointed with the room which had no heating , there were other issues that we have raised with the hotel but had no correspondence back from them. The continental breakfast was almost none existing as we had to make do with a morning roll with cheese for breakfast. Not what you expect from a hotel in the North East of Scotland right on the tourist trail . Definitely not worth the money

Only stopped in for a liquid refreshment, but they offer a huge selection of beers and spirits. We sat outside in the sun then a while in the bar when it got cooler. Definitely worth a visit although it can be extremely busy on a nice day.

My favourite place for lunch in Stonehaven. Good food, outstanding beer menu, friendly service and a nice atmosphere.
Nik Birkby
Nice food and drinks with a good atmosphere. Only marked down slightly as we were a large group so it took a while for the food to come out.Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is upstairs, I didn't see a lift, but that may be that I didn't look for it

Very pleasant evening here with fine food and awesome selection of beers. Even better, dogs are made very welcome.

I know it's dog friendly but there were a few too many for me that day. Great food. A bit expensive for what it is. Great staff with good knowledge of the priducts. Good selection of drinks.
It's very good. Nice atmosphere. Good beer and nice staff. Didn't eat, so can't comment on the food, but what was passing by looked very appetising.

Besutiful sunny day, very busy. Staff run off their feet but were met with smiles and all were very accommodating. The food was excellent, a really nice atmosphere and even better - dog friendly! Will definitely be back and would thoroughly recommend ?

No doubt this place gets busy because it's right on the beautiful harbour front and it has some nice ales too. But, the food is low quality cooking and well over priced for what you get.The real issue is the service is shocking with a bad attitude. 2 hours (from order) on a not busy Monday lunch!!You can't book, so they don't know how many people are coming, so they don't have the staff or the ingredients. A fairly simple bit of management could sort this out but I guess the general "can't be arsed" sentiment extends to that too.If you agree that they are doing you a favour letting you visit then ok, get a drink here ... but if you can eat anywhere else, do so.
