Twice my family and I have tried to come here for coffee/lunch and it’s been unsuccessful. There were 5 tables all “reserved” and no free tables available for walk ins. There was no attempt to accommodate us which was really disappointing. The waiter made us feel really awkward and wouldn’t serve us at the sofa… strangeIt’s a shame because I’ve read the reviews and the food looks really good but it’s unlikely we will try again considering it’s been twice.

Had my first visit to teacake last week and will definitely be back! Lovely location with lots of on street parking available. The food was excellent with generous portion sizes and service with a smile! Highly recommend the lemon drizzle cake, was delicious! Wish I had discovered this wee gem of a cafe sooner!

Went in for coffee Sat 14 about 3 o'clock and were told there were no tables available although there at least 4 tables uncleared. Asked if the tables were reserved and the reply was no they were just not cleared and no attempt was made to accommodate us - so just left and took our custom elsewhere!!

We popped in for breakfast rolls last week whilst out for a walk, lovely wee tea room with lots of choice. COVID prepared. Lovely service too.
Had a lovely takeaway lunch today , the man who took my order on the phone was really helpful and let me know what gluten free options were available. We will definitely be back again!!

Brilliant, very well organised with booking system and table service. The food choice was very good for lunch and reasonably priced, piping hot coffee, and spotlessly clean. Will definitely be back for lunch again.

Was recommended Teacake a while back and finally took the advice and my only regret is that I didn’t go sooner! Ordered a 3 course meal for my wedding anniversary and the food exceeded expectations. I’m looking forward to when we are allowed to dine in, but until then I’ll be enjoying takeaway food from here. Highly recommended.
