The food was delicious, we both had the trio of fish with sides of veg and wonderful chips. Lucky to get in as the info on the website was a little out of date. I would have preferred a beer option on the drinks menu (there are several lagers and ciders) but a small point. Very friendly service and well worth a visit.

We arrived on Saturday about 5:30pm, the restaurant was almost empty with only 2 tables occupied and all tables outside free, we were told is not a dog friendly restaurant so we decided to take our dog back to the lodge and come back, we came back half an our later still 2 tables occupied inside, we asked for a table of four to be told is fully booked. There were no reserve signs on any of the tables and the village was almost empty. As we parked our car opposite and went for a food somewhere else we could see on our return that the restaurant was still empty

Really lovely Chicken katsu curry, dined with two kids who loved their freshly cooked kids food. Worth the money and I will return. I would recommend booking in advance. Waitresses were lovely too.

I phoned prior to my arrival to check on a table but was told they don’t take dogs. No issue with that at all. They weren’t particularly friendly and professional, but no problem. On arrival though it was a lovely night and there were 4 empty tables outside, and only 1 table in the restaurant occupied. I asked if I could sit outside, just myself and the dog for something to eat to be very rudely told they were fully booked. What sort of empty establishment can’t serve 1 main meal? This was 6.30pm so I thought maybe it was due to get very busy, but walked past again later and it still had loads of empty tables. I don’t know if the management know that the kids they employ are downright unhelpful or not? But either way…. Don’t bother

This is a hidden gem, the food is delicious and presented beautifully and the prices are fair for what you get. We were a table of 8 and not one complaint from any of us, we would definitely recommend.

Very nice restaurant which the owners ( who are lovely) have tastefully decorated and the food is five star excellent. Great selection of whiskies as well.

High quality, fresh, well presented food served in a lovely environment with a great view of the port. Things started off very well with fluffy homemade bread and the best butter I have tasted. The 3 fish main was particularly outstanding. The fish and chips is probably the best I’ve had. Looking forward to a future visit.

We spent two days in Portpatrick on a break, and went to Connors on the first evening. Food was great, staff were friendly and helpful We went back at lunchtime on our second day, and again we were impressed by the food and hospitality We live about an hour away from Portpatrick, but I would have to say that we will back again, even for a trip out, just to enjoy the food again

Perfectly cooked fish combined with a crisp panko coating and a lovely sauce. Been far too long since I last enjoyed a fish dish this much.Add in the friendly staff and sensible pricing and it's a winner.Hopefully will come back (and see a few more veggie options).

The food was amazing there were 6 of us and all of us were happy with every course. You need to book well in advance which shows how good it is

Although we had intended trying someplace new every time we ate out on our week-long holiday in Portpatrick, we absolutely could not miss out on a return trip to Connor’s Restaurant. Friendly, helpful staff and excellent cuisine made for a very enjoyable dining experience at prices that won’t break the bank.

A lovely restaurant with a gorgeous view.We went there & ate of the Sunday lunch menu which was extremely good value for money. The main (I had pheasant) was phenomenal, especially the sauce it came with.I would highly recommend.
