Had to wait on chips being cooked, haddock supper £8 each we sat at the water to eat it and it was the worst fish supper we have ever had in our life. Chips were wee chrispy things not fresh and the fish didn't even resemble fish,we felt I'll for hours, avoid avoid.

Terrible atmosphere and the place reeks of fish. Also ordered a burger which i was shocked to have found fecal matter in my burgers presence which was returned immediately and found crap in my corn

Got a panini and soup - The panini was shocking, genuinely disgusting. Partner got a cheese and ham toastie and the ham was actually grey.. minging place.

Friendly service. I decided on the fish supper and I wasn't disappointed. Big portion and very tasty. My girl opted for the mince and tatties another portion and great taste. Good valueFor money. Highly recommended.

Bought onion rings and a cod fish supper here. Very disappointed. Chips were horrible and greasy the fish was cooked but the greasy oil coming out of the batter was disgusting and the onion rings looked good but they weren't. Says chip shop of the year above the door . Maybe so but what year ? Not a nice experience. ....

Sorry I didn't leave like the man before me ... Four portions of chips two cold and dry two hot as from a new batch. Kids ate mine as they were inedible. Wish I'd seen the reviews!£10 for 4 standard size chips ..
Honestly I was well impressed with this place. If what you are after is tasty fish and chips you will not fall off here. I loved it that they had a large selection of the finest takeaway food available. Plenty of seating. They are dog friendly and the staff are helpful and friendly too. We had fish chips mushy peas and curry sauce which was excellent. I'm not sure if fish and chip cafés are your thing but every once in a while everyone should try them. This is really one of the very best and believe you me I've sampled plenty from Blackpool to Blackburn and beyond. I'll definitely go here again. The prices were very reasonable.

Best fish and chips they certainly were not… the fish had been double fried to the point you couldn’t break through the batter the chips were inedible, even the seagulls refused to eat it… we were severed by a very polite man unfortunately that is the only positive …

Web site says open at 11. Walked in at 11.45 to be told no chips for 20 minutes. Would have been nice to have tried them for ourselves but looks as though we had a narrow escape.

Hi, went in here on Monday 29th May 2023 and decided to order the sirloin steak what a disappointment we asked for them to be cooked medium came to the table and mine was way over cooked and unfit to eat my friends wasn't even a sirloin it was chump. Mentioned that I couldn't eat the steak and never got as much as an apology. That was more disappointing than the rubbish steak. This is no reflection on the girls serving who are always very friendly and helpful but the chef that day needs to learn how to cook a steak not one overcooked fits all

Awful restaurant. Had to ask if we could be seated when arriving. Poor customer service.Pizzas were spongy and soggy. Batter on the fish was like concrete. Not one of our party of 9 had a nice thing to say about their meal. Nobody enjoyed their food at all. Would not eat here again if it were free!
