As a take away, we phoned the order, picked it up and straight home...service was great, waiting time minimal, and the food was delicious and hot...our order was for 4 adults and 5 children...it was perfect, thank you ?Parking: If you can't get on the street, there's a car park only a matter of a few yards away...Kid-friendliness: Kids meal options were perfect.

Ate here years ago and decided to use takeaway on a return trip. Still the highlight of our stay. Tasty, hot and fresh and a good price.

Ordered beef bamboo shoots and water chestnuts with fried rice.Generous rice portion was well cooked but not seasoned enough.Plenty of bamboo shoots but prefer sliced as opposed to shredded. The distinct lack of water chestnut is quite frankly unacceptable. The gravy was okay and the beef was nice

Use to be absolutely delicious before covid, but just recently had a take away, Chips we undercooked and tasted like cinnamon, Soft noodles were cold and bland and the curry had clumps in it. Probably wouldn’t go again

The meaning of the given name Sunkai represents creativity, curiosity, charm, friendliness, cheer and social life…. This place has it all wrapped up in one . Been a while since we last visited and decided takeaway and what a feast and fantastic value for money. Marie so socialable, chef very creative with flavours . Cheer… always smiling is Marie as she took the order and so charming and friendly and never forgot our faces . I am always curious to try a dish I haven’t had before .. so tonight we had beef and tomato , succulent pieces of beef in a really tasty sauce and a good starter for someone just trying out Cantonese dishes . Prawn foo yung ( hubby is a great fan of the sea) Chinese pork cooked with water chestnuts and bamboo shoots … delicious. Everyone’s favourite sweet and sour chicken balls and a good size too and really tender moist chicken inside . One portion of King Prawn rice which is enough to serve two with all the other dishes .. of course no Cantonese is complete without prawn crackers .. Thank you again Sunkai very happy bunnies and at £28.30 well worth the money ❤️❤️

Terrible! We only went here because Hong Kong City was closed for the summer, worst decision ever. When even chips taste bland you know you've got a problem. Special fried rice, was dry and tasteless. It had prawns in it which they'd failed to devein, the waste product was evident in all of them! The special chow mein had no taste and no sauce instead it was a pile of dry bean sprouts. Our worst Chinese meal ever. We will never go there again!
