Only get takeaway once or twice a month and the Manzil is an absolute hit or miss. Sometimes it's decent, sometimes it's very poor. My food last night was the worst it's been in a while. Everything was over-cooked to the point of being pretty much tasteless. They frequently forget to put things in the order too. Asked my wife to remind me next time NOT to order from the Manzil because it's a very occasional treat for us, and it's just not worth the 50/50 gamble of the food being alright.

Ordered from here found 3 hairs in my food did not even get to eat half of it totally disgusting they should have hair nets or some sort as it’s unhygienic come on guys this could give some 1 covid19 just disgusting altogether won’t be ordering ever agin from here !!!

If you fancy a pizza avoid this place .Nearly every time the orders wrong or they've forgot a pizza , the communication in the kitchen between them is obviously terrible . Latest experience I had ordered two pizzas one stuff crust cheese pizza and one hot and spicy pizzas and got two cheese pizzas , and that's after them forgetting to make second pizza .After phoning up they said it will be delivered straight away but instead it took 48 minutes after there mistake . Avoid this place !

Got a set meal B with a few currys and starters + pizza for my son delivered in under 30 mins forgot our extra pomodoms but after a quick call dropped off in under 5 mins. Quality of the food was great and the service was excellent specially how quickly they reacted to a small mistake ?? Have used them loads and so far have not been disappointed??? Great work and appreciate you going at these difficult times with covid. Would recommend ??

Usually pleased with manzil but very disappointed last Saturday night. Ordered some buffet platters on Friday to be delivered on Saturday for a 50th birthday party - failed to deliver on time and after 20mins late we phoned to chase up the order and was told it would be another 15-20mins. Cancelled order in disgust leaving some very hungry party guests. 😡

This old stalwart of Strathaven has been banging out curries ,kebabs, burgers, pizza etc for over 20 years and has a loyal customer base in the town , some don't go anywhere else for takeaway/delivery . This was the only such premises in Strathaven for many years and did have a monopoly in the town for many years .It has an extensive menu catering for virtually every type of takeway away curries , pizza kebab burgers hoggies ,munchie boxes etc. I was a regular myself for many years but have moved my custom over the last couple of years to the new kids on the block at Tandoori Cottage and Chillies. The food at the Manzil is generally of a good standard with large portions , pizza`s are a little disappointing as unless you order the 16", you get pre baked bases that are more like white bread than pizza base on 10 and 12" pizzas , but the toppings are plentiful. There is a wide choice of curries all of which are large in portion size and generally come with rice ( unless you go for a Traditional curry eg - dupiaza ,madras ,dansak etc which are cheaper ex rice. If new to Strathaven I would recommend you try all 4 places in town and find the one that suits your palate. I have steered towards the new offerings over the last 2 years and have not been disappointed but many still swear by the Manzil
