A warm welcome and attentive service, cosy fire near the bar. Easy to find a table on this wet and windy Friday evening.Food & drinks: Generous portions of tasty, home cooked food.

Great town the Balintore inn serves nice food there is a camping and caravan site at the harbour and the seaboard centre allows motorhomes in there car park with a donation when using chemical toilet. And nice waks along the beach

Right on the beach, stunning location. Very freindly service and nice rooms. But for me the highlight, the cosy chairs at the fireplace in the Restaurant!! I come back again!!

What a beautiful place to stay, the location is fantastic, the proprietor was amazing and the view was superb, I have never been in a place where you cannot finish a meal, which was absolutely lovely, as most,in fact nearly all the places I've stayed don't give you enough, this place gave loads as it did with breakfast. If I'm in the area again, I will be staying

In Scotland there are only beautiful landscapes and small villages to discover

We were staying in the village, so went in for a drink and with a view to eating there. We paid for 2 pints of IPA, but then were told it wasn't on. 2 other beers were also not on, so we were left with not much choice. We had local craft larger which was tasteless. We did look at the food menu, which looked reasonably okay, but we had lost faith due to the drinks situation. The pub has a great view and has potential to be fabulous, but not on our visit

Even tho the room was cute and cozy. It could surely be cleaned better by the looks of the ventilation. Also rooms are poorly insulated and you hear people walking around in the room next door.Food here was a proper disappointment, ore cooked and reheated dishes that lacked taste and soul. One understands the reason for signs stating dinner only served between 5pm and 7pm as well as breakfast between 7am and 8am so the heat cabinets can keep the food somewhat warm.If in the area I'd recommend going to Tain or Dornoch for food and accommodation.

We went here a couple of times when staying in Shandwick. The food was nice enough and the staff were friendly. It was good being able to sit outside by the shore on a warm, sunny evening. They had a good whisky selection, which is not surprising for a pub in this part of Scotland.

Stayed here start of the week. Tired decor. Like going back to the 60’s. Menu is very winter orientated. Waiting staff very young but do their best. Confirmed to me that the beef bourguignon is batch cooked and microwaved. It cost £19.50!Bar maid ignored me at the bar and continued to serve locals. Won’t return.

Nice small seaside inn. Staff was very accommodating. Even though we checked in a bit late, they still allowed us to order dinner from the restaurant. Service was quick and the food was good. Room was exactly as advertised and was clean. Good experience all around.

We only went for drinks but it was a bit confused. Ok so very young new staff but long waits to be served and longer waits for the drinks. Shame no one looked obviously in charge or helping make sure the right people were in the right place
