Would give this 6 stars if possible. What a phenomenal stay we had! The staff was excellent and catered to our every need. The house itself has the most unique and interesting design I've ever stayed in. Different rooms throughout the house modeled after a different part of the whisky making process. The whisky bar in the Gold Room was exceptional. Knowledgeable staff could sit and talk about whisky for ages! Learn about it, taste different drams, etc.The food was also very high-end. 5 star. Though we only had the breakfast. Best croissants in Scotland made at this little house!

Absolutely stunning house, amazing food and great whisky! The host did a great job making everyone feel welcome. We've been here for the highland whisks festival dinner with whisky pairing! This is one of the easiest 5 out of 5 stars ever!Great location a bit away from Tain center, close the beach with amazing views and nice scenic fields.Sadly we could'nt stay overnight, but that gives us the opportunity to visit again.Thank you all for your hospitality and kindness!

We stayed here twice on our holiday and on both occasions the accommodation was fantastic, the ambiance was chilled, relaxed and welcoming. From Findlay and Amy on FOH greeting you on arrival, the rooms were excellent - themed but with lots of quirky touches which drew your attention and made you smile (think Giraffes)! The food - wow! Our breakfast was great, with highlight being the omelette, so good! Dinner was on a different level and having the chef, Douglas, introduce himself and the dessert was great touch. This is a young guy with skills and he is a great asset for the company! I would thoroughly recommend staying here (it even has pet-friendly cottages to stay in when travelling with your furry friends)!

Beautiful house and lovely location. Cottages are very dog friendly - bed, bowls, treats and toys provided! Amazing food and ambience. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Giraffe theme was a quirky touch.

This is one lovely memorable experience that one can enjoy. The amazing rooms, spacious garden, outdoor seating areas, beautiful beach just outside the premises where you can take a walk. So peaceful. They have thoroughly thought it through to make you feel at home during your stay.Great service, delicious dinner and breakfast was superb too. We loved it there and highly recommend it to everyone. Go for it! Worth the money for the experience. Would love to go back there again in the future. My in-laws stayed with their two gorgeous dogs at the separate building at the back of the main house. They all loved it too.Rooms: Every room has its themes decorated beautifully to fit the theme. My favourite being the golden barley room downstairs. Love it.

Stayed two special nights in mid June and had a great time. Nearby walk to the beach and not far from town of Dornach which is a nice place to spend a day - check out the local historical society facility which is surprisingly fun. The room was spacious and bed was comfortable. My wife and I also had a great meal in the dining room (fixed price was very fair) and (fortunately for us) seven guests didnt show up, so it was just the two of us. Food was excellent and the highland steak was maybe the best I've ever had! Though the staff (Joe and Fin) were disappointed at the missing guests, they lavished us with excellent service, whiskey tastings, and entertained us with local lore. They were wonderful hosts and could not have been more accomodating. As a person who usually keeps it simple (didnt know what to do with four forks) this stay was a memorable, though lavish, treat during our visit to Scotland.

Beautiful , quirky hotel. Staff could not do enough for us. Took time to chat and answer any questions. Outside seating areas and Gardens are beautiful. Everything is so well thought out and designed. Interesting dynamics of everyone dining together . Food was absolutely amazing. Beautiful grounds and walks. Will definitely go back .

Amazing experience ! We were 7 adults and 7 kids and Andrea helped with planning and organizing everything for our 3 day stay. Amy saw us through from welcoming, doing mocktails with the kids, organizing archery, lunch, dinner and tastings. From beginning to end our experience was something we want to be going back to again and again.

What an authentic Scottish Highlands experience! The Glenmorangie House is a unique slice of heaven set far away from the big towns. We were here to golf at Royal Dornoch. The location seems remote but that is what was so special about it. Dinner each night is served with the rest of the guests. You get a true old fashioned houseparty feel. At dinner we were piped in with bagpipes and had a formal address of the haggis. The Gleorangie whiskey flows and the entire staff is so knowledgeable. The rooms are each uniquely decorated. Everything was so clean and comfortable. And did I mention the food? Each night was a four course authentic Scottish meal, beautifully presented and plated. Amy was a delightful hostess throughout our stay. This was a once in a lifetime experience. There are no televisions in the rooms so it is a perfect place to disconnect and explore the beauty of the surrounding area. I highly recommend!

This definitely has the wow factor. Beautifully decorated, staff went out of their way to make our stay memorable, food was excellent and the service was brilliant. Definitely a place to visit when in the area.

We stayed for two nights and felt very welcome. The staff, the rooms and the food are great. Met really nice people there. We just feel a bit fooled because we did pay more then other guests which booked via third-party. That’s not nice. 500£ for one night without food is way overpriced for that place.

The best place we stayed on our 10 day trip around Scotland. We only stayed two nights and wished we could have stayed longer. Absolutely magical. The food was incredible. Everyone was amazing but Amy and Ally stood out the most. Can't wait to find a reason to go back again!

Stayed here on a whiskey weekend. The old farmhouse has been done up in an array of colours, all along the style of Glenmorangie Whiskey. I really loved the open mindedness of the decor. I cannot fault the staff, Amy in particular is delightful, fun, helpful and hard working. All the staff are great. The chef is well trained and i loved his food and understanding of flavour. We had a great time with a selection of people we had never met. Texans and Londoners, both were lovely and fun to be with. We were treated to a Scottish piper at dinner. What a talent. What an absolute gentleman. The house was comfortable, relaxed, and interesting, all the rooms are lovely. Finally Finley a young man, outstanding well done to him. Thank you for everything and converting me to Whiskey of such outstanding quality
