A tiny pub with a very warm welcome, great atmosphere, warm fire on a wet winter night, and beautiful, delicious food. no microwave meals here!!! I've visited twice here, both times I was on my own in the area for a course. But not alone here as the local residents are friendly and happy to chat. There is a restaurant at the back but I ate in the pub room. Fresh, tasty food in generous portions as always. Failford changes it's menu regularly and this one leans in to elevated pub comfort food to great effect. The bar had a nice busy little buzz on Friday evening - great atmosphere. Failford's the best country inn in the district. Don't miss out!
After finding Sorn closed for refurbishment we came across this delightful Inn. We hadn't booked however were lucky that the establishment had a table for 2 still available. I had Duck and Mum the seabass. The food was value for money, well presented and delicious. Staff were welcoming and friendly with the fire burning in the room giving a warm cosy feel.
