Cafes in Thornhill

“Lovely cafe in a converted church. Service a bit slow but lovely coffee. Just dropped in for coffee and cake. Lovely gift shop too.”

“Very popular here during lunchtime, I opted for a Scotch pie, and sausage roll, the pie was packed with meat and tasty, sausage roll very good too. The sandwiches and salads are made to order and looked good, some hot food options too. I picked up some local pickle too. Nice service, good bakers!”

“My husband and I were on a bike tour, and this place was recommended along the way. I’m so happy we stopped here! Everyone was very friendly, I loved my cranberry, Brie, and bacon sandwich, and they had a cute gallery in a back room. I’d definitely come back if I were in the area again :)”

“I’ve been coming to.this cafe for 30+ years,, detouring when I’m Scotland to visit relatives and for the past 10 years living nearby. It is a typical Italian/Scottish cafe I remember from my childhood and am still lucky to find on our travels. There have been changes in the last few years, but the food is excellent, their soup in the winter and fish and chips, my grandsons love their pizzas. Prices have risen and the staff are young, but on our way home tonight we asked to share a fish n chips as we couldn’t manage a full one each, and this was no problem for them, and it was as usual excellent!”
