“Recently ordered one of the new 6inch cakes from the website for a family birthday. Marchbanks didnt disappoint! The sponge was so soft and tasty, jam spot on and tart to cut through all the sweetness of the butter cream. Only one thing i could find wrong was the outside buttercream. It was slightly too thick for me but that is personal preference. I will be purchasing again and again. Fastastic addition Marchbanks!!!!”

“We loved this place. Lots of lovely shopping things to browse, lovely artwork to admire.
We only stopped for coffee and cake but both were beautiful and the staff were super friendly and polite. Overall just a really lovely experience”

“Great fish & chips & very reasonably priced. The black pudding was delicious as well. The staff are nice & friendly as well. Menus are all online & you can phone ahead to pre order to save time.
Parking: Loads of parking around the place on both sides of street & around the corner.”
