Terrible service, followed up by uncalled for nastiness from owner when giving an honest review on Facebook. The thread got personal with attacks towards me, is disgusting way to behave and only shows how insecure and deluded and lacking in professionalism on the part of the owner. I would not recommend this place. Is rude, overpriced, poor wifi, and no I did not enjoy the experience, a cafe that won’t accept bank cards in this day and age is laughable.

Just had lunch at Jinty-B's in Thornhill, Dumfriesshire. Gorgeously quirky, comics wallpapering the cafe, great home-made toasties & cake, hot tea & coffee & everything is immaculate. Perfect for family groups & very dog friendly.

Fantastic wee place! Stopped here during a long drive for lunch. Had great soup and paninis, fresh cakes, lovely service and free wifi. It’s a wee gem of a place ☺️

Lovely place with great cakes. Staff were very friendly, especially to our dog, offering him lots of biscuits

This very friendly tearoom in the middle of Thornhill is not to be missed. From the tasty and varied menu, prompt service and super food the 7 of us were made to feel very welcome. Dogs allowed too! Cash only but cashpoint just around the corner. Jinty and Hayley do a superb job!

Lovely cafe. Warm and friendly greeting. The lady was willing to make me a macchiato (not on her drinks menu), which was very kind of her. The food was excellent and generous portions. Homely and comfortable. Clear signage that it is a cask only café. Thanks for a great brunch!

Friendly staff but prices high. A latte and a black americano and two tea cakes ( they didn’t have any scones) was over £15.

What is there not to like about Jinty B's? We got a warm welcome from Haley and Megan, who were cheery, friendly, and helpful. We opted for a soup n sandwich combo, which was good value for money, and I followed it up with a fruit slice with my coffee. As we were on a local run out we asked Haley to recommend a walk after our meal. On her advice we went to Crawick Multiverse near Sanquhar and had a really interesting visit, the last time we'd been there was 6 years ago! We thoroughly recommend Jinty B's, which is just down from the Cross on the main road in Thornhill. Whilst not as evident as other cafes, it's well worth seeking out. One tip......don't ask Haley for her autograph as she won't sign on behalf of Scarlett Moffet!

Fantastic little tea rooms with plenty of choice and excellent food. We stopped by on our return journey from the Highlands on a Friday lunchtime and all 6 tables were taken most of the time. Well frequented by locals which is always a good sign. Thank you so much ?
