Cheap bagged tea from plastic cups in a garage, cakes were served in Styrofoam dishes.

Ordered two soups while waiting on our ferry- carrot & coriander and minestrone. The sandwiches looked so miserable and expensive that I didn’t think they were worth it! Both soups however were so very disappointing. There was no taste of coriander to the one soup and heavily tomato in the order. The indoors seating area was closed off so we sat in the rain but appreciated the baby changing facilities in the disabled toilet. My husband was also given hot water for our baby’s milk which we appreciated. The service was good but the food was desperately disappointing.

We popped in for a tea and scone on a rainy afternoon and we were disappointed that the inside dining area was closed off. Who wants to sit on an outside table in the rain? Tea was hot but scone was not fresh. Convenient for those awaiting the ferry.

I stopped by on 11/05/2022.I am strongly convinced that I had ever tasted the most scrumptious Cafe Mocha in my life ever at this cafe.I have not still forgotten an amiable greet and a benevolent smile on the face of the Highlander grandmother, who is the owner and the barista.I took part in a group package tour for Highland visit on a small bus, and 15 mins was given for a break while going ahead to the next destination, so I dropped by here and ordered decaf extra hot Mocha. The flavour, amount, temperature, and price are flawless, and the indoor was rustic and minimalistic. However, this is one of the real Highland vibes, I darely can tell everyone my impression received from this coffee shop.I came back to South Korea and have still been visiting a large number of cafes but have not yet found as marvelous as Mocha that I tasted at this tea room.Recommend to you visiting here!

Had a latte (very tasty) and hot chocolate (very chocolatey) with a steak pie (very piey).Staff were super friendly, had a great chat, and the atmosphere is lovely! A basic local cafe but is a very restful stop around the bay.Price is as expected round Skye if not on the lower end - for the quality of our food/drink they could have asked for more but didn't!Will definitely stop by again on our way throughParking: Large parking lot by pier.

Cozy team room and lunch café, right in front of the ferry terminal. We entered with low expectations and enjoyed a a very nice break. Definitely recommended if you pop by Uig. Friendly staff.

Good quality food and great service. This is a hidden gem of a tea room and cafe. The menu is limited but excellent value. We had beef chilli and chips and hot dog and chips and cold drinks for £20. The portions were huge which did prevent us from having cake. The cakes looked gorgeous and some were vegan. We will definitely visit again. Lovely cheerful and friendly people serving.

I can only think the negative reviews are confusing this charming tea room with another, or perhaps a business previously on this site? Greeted by a warm welcome and fridges well stocked with a wide variety of cakes and salads. Staff extremely friendly to our group of hikers and even a selection of gluten free cakes including a fantastic, and obviously home made, carrot cake. The scones were large and very tasty and freshly made proper coffee too. Really a gem in Uig and with ample free parking outside the perfect place to stop if you're early for the ferry. Many thanks!

Nice wee cosy cafe! The staff were very nice and welcoming. They have a very good selection of food, pies, cakes and drinks. The lemon cake was absolutely amazing (I definitely recommend it!). The only concern was the take away containers, bad for the environment.

Nice lunch spot near the ferry. Good selection of soups and sandwiches. Needs hot sauce for the chili.

Eat on the ferry instead. It is cheaper and a much higher quality! This cafe has everything in disposable containers, is very expensive and the food is poor quality.

Cosy Tea Room with lovely staff. We stoped on Tuesday for some coffee and cake, the girl who served us was really friendly, she also speaks several languages which helps if you do not speak english. The coffee was really good with beautiful latte art. Would come back again.

Not a very warm welcome, more like we were an inconvenience. Everything served in cardboard/polystyrene. Stale cake, average coffee. Was the only place open on a Monday so not much choice. Wouldn’t bother again
